Saffron Spice | Indian | Chinese | Seafood Restaurant — Restaurant in Patong

My friend and I stopped in here after we had a glorious two hour massage just around the corner!

And we were hankering for something a little different so we decided to go for Indian Chinese !

Much to our surprise restaurant so we sat down and we had one order Manchurian cauliflower which was very tasty however the presentation of the dishes are not lovely but anyway the food was good but it seemed like the Marian chicken the flavors were incredible but I don’t think it was made fresh it wasn’t hot it was like warm!

We ordered the Hakka noodles Hunan style and they were made well and very tasty 😋

The Hunan chicken was also quite good but again the presentation of these dishes could be done so much nicer!

As always the service needs improving when guy was combing his hair up at the front and we had to waive the server down several times first of all to get more of the pickled chilies and then second of all it was to actually place the order itself !

This place considering the food was good but the service really needs improvement !

Thailand island of 1000 smiles and no one was smiling here!! 😝

We had a very bad experience with the restaurant. Their promoter would be standing out on the street stating that we wont regret if we gave them the chance However they could not keep up their word. The captain taking the order never bothered to explain the quantity and taste to expect when we asked for the dishes we wanted to order. When the food arrived the quantity was way too less versus the other Indian restaurants that were their in the same market area. Taste of the food was also disappointing specially if u are an indian looking for similar taste atleast. They even had issues in providing onions as salad ! Something not to be asked for even in any Indian restaurant. Will not recommend this restaurant at all. The feedback mentioned above was also shared with restaurant owner.

As a correction to the response from the restaurant to this feedback here online. The order was chicken afghani and chicken masala and not what the restaurant quotes . Restaurant defended itself stating the skewed version of indian dishes is the usual dish and then on telling them how nearby restaurants function they were caught guilty.

If this how a restaurant accepts feedback would urge people to avoid this restaurants. Many better Indian restaurants exist in...

I recently dined at Saffron Spice while on our maiden trip to Phuket, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish.
