Sultan's Grill Authentic Turkish & Indian Cuisine — Restaurant in Patong

Me and my girl friends visited this amazing place 3 weeks ago. Everything about this place is awesome the food served here is very authentic and they ask your preference as per your taste buds.

We had some really bad experiences in some other restaurant specially with the staffs attitude.

Special mention to the Manager Mr Taner He was very thoughtful specially if your a first timer you no need to worry he and his staff will take care of you so well that you will land up visiting again. Infact we went there almost every day either for lunch or dinner. He was always on his toes making sure the flow of service goes well. He's does a good service recovery too if any customer is upset about something we have noticed that he goes out his way and makes sure the customer is satisfied before they leave.

Also if your a vegetarian be least assured beacuse they do have some good options. We like the whole idea of having turkish and Indian cuisine under one roof. You can have some visual experiences with few creative dishes(we saw it on some else's table lol)

It's also nice place to even just relax in the evening sip on some coffee and have desserts too. This was our first visit to the sultans grill but we will surely visit every time we come to Phuket.

Thank you so much Mr Taner for adding some good memories to our trip because food was always one of our main concerns where ever we went !!!

Also there's one more female staff i would like to mention, she was very courteous and had a very genuine smile throughout she was so welcoming too (I'm sorry but I couldn't get her name she had short open hair and wearing glasses).

Please note: this place always gets full for lunch and dinner so get in lil early so that you can get the tables. Even if you wait for a while...

It’s a busy place for sure but one of the worst experiences I had in a long time. This is my first time writing anything negative in the internet and that is only because of how miserable this whole experience was for me. Being seated right beside the long line of ppl waiting for table is something that is uncomfortable and the whole experience was miserable to me. The young gentleman who was ushering in customers whispered the group in front of us which had group of 4 women that he would get them a place inside the restaurant. He didn’t bother asking us if we were okay sitting in the spot he told us to sit even though it was a table with 4 chairs and a group of 4 had just finished eating.

There is not one waiter assigned to you but you can ask any waiter to bring you food. Eventually the young gentleman was accompanied by an older gentleman who was amazing at his job, very attentive to all customers and quick unlike the young gentleman who was selective about who he was nice to. The three star for service is only for the older gentleman him and the very busy waiters.

I did get free dessert from the older gentleman/usher but it didn’t feel right so I paid 100 Bhat on top of my 900 bhat bill.

Came here after a recommendation and many good reviews on Google and trip advisor, On arrival it was very busy but a table was found for us (2 of us dining) however it was right on the corner and in the main stream of foot traffic for both staff and customers so felt a little uncomfortable, We ordered our drinks which were served to us quickly, the staff were very friendly and attentive. We ordered our food 1x Turkish pizza, 1x lamb biryani and 1x fish biryani, it was served to us within 5 minutes, the Turkish pizza was faultless hot and very tasty, however both biryani's were a disappointment, the flavours were very good however the meat and the fish in both meals were a little scarce again a little disappointing plenty of rice though !!! The male toilets were disgusting, mess everywhere, the toilet seat was broke and not useable nor did it flush the bins were overflowing and there was no running water so you couldn't wash your hands......nor did I expect a female customer to come out of the toilet while a male customer was stood using the urinal either !!!!!!
