R-MAR RESORT AND SPA — Hotel in Patong

I'd like to share my greeting and special thanks to Hardworking , kind and always smiling staff of R-Mar Resort who helped us to experience wonderful stay at hotel from top management to bellboy. specifically Mr. Tao the Night Manager and Pool bar and restaurant manager. from Feb 28th till March 19th,as our first time visiting Thailand, We haven't plan to stay 20 nights in this hotel in the beginning but everything was so good that we extended our stay every 3 or 4 nights even though that caused us to change rooms about 6 times. , firstly we chose this hotel because it has walking distance to bangla road and beach while it has nice pool and garden with reasonable price. staff nice behaviors and their good service beside our prior reasons made us to enjoy this place for 20 nights. Nice, calm pool with beautiful garden, delicious and reasonable priced foods and beverages in hotel hardly would let you to go outside. 5 star experience in 4 stars hotel which I believe it could be because they don't have enough rooms or fancy buildings and lobby and lack of elevator in building beside the pool. prestigious staff never expect tips but better to consider for each for their 5star service. we tried deluxe rooms with pool view, standard with building view and others which I don't remember now. Pool area was so calm and music played in low vol, there were no entertainment staff in pool but plenty of good beverages and snacks. enough sunbeds, towels and clean area. not much entertaining stuffs in property. don't know about their guests policy since we hadn't any. but anytime in mid-night we came back to hotel Mr. Tao smiling joking and made a nice conversation to let us feel comfortable. check in /check out procedure was normal and on time. you can stay more hours in hotel public area and use pool showers to wait for flights. we got nice massage in hotel SPA which was more expensive than outside but worth it due to higher quality and time and fancier space and service. after all try to book earlier due to this hotel is overbooked...

Fabulous hotel with very friendly staff. We used the hotels airport transfer service which was quick, comfortable and very reasonably priced, 700 baht for 2 each way, under £20 each way. Large modern rooms with free toiletries, 3 free mini bar soft drinks per day and 2 bottles of water each day. The bed was so big & comfortable, it was unbelievable. When we booked the hotel, I asked for a ground floor room IF possible, as I have limited mobility at times and on arrival we were told that we had been given a free upgrade to a superior room from a deluxe. Nothing too much trouble for the staff.Breakfast is a buffet style with tea, coffee, 2 different fruit juices, toast, cereals, hot food such as rice and other dishes, salad, cheese, ham and an egg station where your eggs are cooked, however you want them, while you wait.The pool is fantastic with a separate children’s pool which is in view of the large pool. Pool towels are available at either the pool bar or we picked ours up at breakfast. Not a huge amount of sun beds, but we managed to get 2 every day. Te pool bar is great too. There isn’t always a member of staff there but look for the button to ring for attention or go to the restaurant to order and the staff will bring it out to you at the pool.We ate in the restaurant a few times and the food is very reasonably priced and of a good and consistent quality. I recently stayed at R-Mar Resort and Spa in Phuket, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm hospitality of the staff, who went out of their way to make my stay as comfortable as possible. The on-site restaurant offered a delicious variety of dishes, with both local and international options, all of which were fresh and beautifully presented.
