I’m literally sitting in this bad service of a restaurant writing this and we still haven’t gotten any water. Plus they sat us down at a very dirty table. Like seriously? I don’t have high expectations for the food and I am seriously… trying to convince my wife to leave… I’ve spent hundreds of usd on a meal but this? This place is ridiculous… the other reviews are dead on this place the service is bad… seems to be over priced food.

Update: darn I couldn’t leave and they apparently saw me upset. We had to stay and eat dinner because apparently maybe the manager said please wait a few more minutes to my Thai wife. There were plenty of empty tables on the patio they could have sat us at when we arrived. For a small restaurant they need to prioritize those that are at the restaurant already and we had a reservation which even made it more upsetting.

Small restaurant should always be a first come First served basis and not a reservation setup. Doesn’t make sense and when your reservation doesn’t show up!!! But you upset patrons like us that were already inside the restaurant! What a bunch of moron management and staff!

The fact that they charged a service charge is ironic given the service was pretty bad. Never once did our waitress come by to pour anymore water or ask if we want anything else. Anyways it wasn’t good and save your money and go else where.

It’s small hot restaurant that has a small view. Save your money and get on a boat river cruise and have all the views you want with unlimited buffet food. Avoid this place...

Daylight robbery! Or shall I say sunset robbery!

Just for 2 soft drinks, you're charged 14 times more expensive than a 7-11 soft drink price! Granted, I understand it's restaurant prices but 180Bht for a soft drink?! Really?!

To add the cherry on the cake, they charge you an additional 10% service charge - what service? A guy handing our drinks over the counter? Plus another 7% Vat on top of that! This isn’t standard for Thailand and should not be permitted. For the price we pay they could at least add a lift, the climb of stairs are steep. If you're in a wheelchair, there's no access for you.

Didn't eat here, very little on the menu for the rooftop. Only snacks. Also overpriced.

If they want to charge you access to enjoy the sunset view of Wat Arun and the river, then do that, instead of ripping people off for drinks that should not be this expensive!

Will not recommend this place, not even for the view, many places to go to besides here. Seems like most of these rooftop bars take the Micky because the bar next door had similar prices. In my opinion, this place was overrated...

I tried to book a table 2 weeks before the trip, they were fully booked, but they said we could go to their rooftop bar instead. So, after visiting Wat Arun, we headed to their rooftop bar right in time for the sunset, only to be told at the door that it was full! Disappointed, I walked to the restaurant and took a chance by asking for a table that was probably reserved for the night but the guests hadn’t arrived yet. I asked while crossing all my fingers and toes. 😅 The hostess, Fern said she could give us an outdoor table, ours for a magical 2 hours and 15 minutes. 😍 That was more than what we needed.

The sunset was downright magical, and the nighttime view over the river? Absolutely fabulous. Drinks hit the spot, food was deliciously yum, and the service? Impeccable. Counting down the days till our next trip, and you bet we'll be reserving ahead of time for another...
