Today I visited this Georgian restaurant in Phuket, eager to try some food from my home country. Unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The restaurant was completely empty when I arrived—there were no other customers—but when I asked to sit at a four-seat table, which has window to look over, I was rudely refused. Despite explaining that I wasn’t planning on staying long they still wouldn’t allow me to sit there, even though, there was no signs that any table was reserved for any guests, and the tables were not that big, it was 4 seat tables.
As someone who is familiar with Georgian hospitality, this was quite shocking. Back in Georgia, such a refusal, especially in an empty restaurant, would never happen. What made the situation even more frustrating was that the staff member was wearing Georgian traditional hat, if you are saying that you are Georgian restaurant, act like it!
In the end, I left without dining. If the restaurant had been even slightly busy, I would have completely understood their seating policy. But on a Sunday afternoon with an empty restaurant, it just didn’t make sense. Staff was very arrogant and didn’t care what was the issue.
I left disappointed, especially considering that part of what makes Georgian cuisine special is the warm and welcoming experience that usually comes with it.
Nothing will explain stuff being rude...
Read moreIn principle, good food and decent service. But it’s really annoying and disappointing that there are a huge number of fake reviews. Perhaps up to 80%. 200 reviews in a month and a half ... it just looks ridiculous. It's easy to see, almost every reviewer has only one and only review on their account for this restaurant. Also, in every review, they admire the waiter. In Thailand, there is no tradition to find out the name of the waiter, let alone write about him in the review. This can be easily seen by looking at the accounts of old and famous restaurants in Phuket and Bangkok. I would like to advise the owners to stop this, because those people who actually read the review before coming immediately understand that these are fakes and don’t go. I wish good luck to the not so bad restaurant with...

Every dish was prepared with love and care — crispy, juicy, and full of flavor that took us straight to Georgia. You don’t just eat here; you feel something deeper — like a warm hug from home, even when you’re far away.
The atmosphere is cozy and full of heart, and the service was exceptional. The waiter was so kind, attentive, and made us feel truly special — it’s rare to experience this level of hospitality.
Thank you, Baraka, for an experience we’ll always remember. 5 stars, without a doubt! We can’t wait...
