Rooftop Chinese Restaurant at Pearl Hotel — Restaurant in Ratsada

It is my first time here. We came because of the 555 baht buffet and additional 2 bites of Pekking Duck and Bamboo soup. The venue on 12fl.is incredible view, and they play live piano aswell. I give 5 star for the ambiance. As we alway has the best Pekking Duck in the town we visit. I keen to try here in the promotion, before I invited other friends to come for the ala cart meal and proper pekking duck. However it was not impress; The sauce for Pekking duck was not great like Hoi Sin sauce.(if you cooked, you know what sauce I am talking about). The duck come with both skin and meat, and no crispy at all. The worse one is the Bamboo soup which is has little bamboo and fulled of carrot and green vegetable in it, instead of mushroom.??!?!? Buffet is not lime the pit on the table for you to select, but need to tick on the form what you want. So we tick all of it because we want to see what is like. The one I like is Lava Bun, both steam and Fried. The rest just normal. And because we order all of it, so we have to eat it all, otherwise they will charge as ala cart 😅 absolutely terrify. The dimsum that I recommend such as the crab legs, the flower something, Siew Long Pao which has 5 piece and inside has the tasty soup. The rest fimsim are similar taste. If you are English I would not recommend going here. Me and my fiancé had our honeymoon dinner at this restaurant as it looked beautiful on images and food looked lovely. We got there and no one greeted us to our table. Two of the women waitresses constantly stared at us throughout the night while laughing. Even when we looked at them to show them we acknowledged their rude behaviour they carried on. I do not know if it was to do with our ethnicity but we did not feel welcome at all, even when it came to paying for the bill, the waitress was hovering right over my partner to see what he was doing, as if we was not trusted. It was an utter shame as the food was lovely and the interior decorations was very authentic.
