Honestly so confused by my experience here today lol. There was a whole film crew and they were filming the whole restaurant but mainly this one guy I don’t know if was a famous mukbanger or restaurant reviewer or something but there was cameras everywhere and they were also filming other random customers including me when we were eating and sat at the table which I was a bit uncomfy about because I wasn’t informed about what was going on or anything. I don’t know if it was because of this thing going on that the service was so slow, but I had to wait almost an hour for some iced coffee and fried rice and egg to come. The stools were very uncomfy for sitting for such a long period of time. The food was okay, nothing special at all and a bit expensive for the quality. Not to sound like a complete pedant but the egg was also tiny and the iced coffee was hard to drink because there was so much tiny pieces of ice that would be sucked up the straw lol. I’m sure the experience would’ve been better on a normal day when there wasn’t a whole film crew there, but it was not the best vibe for when I just wanted to enjoy some breakfast in peace but I could see cameras filming me eating. The waitresses were lovely tho and super...

Nestled in the heart of Old Town, Bangkok, right beside the majestic Wat Suthat, this local dining gem has been serving delicious Thai-Chinese fare for an incredible 73 years. Though steeped in history, the restaurant has embraced modernity — the décor tastefully blends updated elements with charming vintage details, preserving its original soul while feeling fresh and inviting.
Arriving in the morning, I was greeted by a queue of eager tourists — a sign of the place’s growing fame as a breakfast destination. It’s easy to see why: strong, aromatic coffee and classic Thai breakfast dishes fill the air with a warm, nostalgic aroma. The menu, though modernized, honors its roots. Dim sum is especially popular here, and I’m planning to return today to indulge in a few bamboo-steamed baskets myself.
This place isn’t just a restaurant — it’s part of the neighborhood’s rhythm. Whether you’re a local like me or a visitor on your way to Wat Suthat, stopping here for breakfast is a must. Come early, bring your appetite, and enjoy a taste of Bangkok’s living...

It's hearty, healthy, and bursting with flavor.
