We had a nice vegetarian meal. I was expecting more becouse of so many recommendations, they are there since 1983, and they are in every Lonely planet book mentioning Bangkok. So, the guy was very serious and fast, just took the rice and start showing what can we put on without telling us how it actually works- rice + three dishes above. Later we also saw he has brown rice too which we would also prefer. I said I would like noodles so he pour away my rice and put me some dish with noodles and let me to choose more. All that was ok but that feeling that there is some big hurry even we were the only customers I didn't like. Also my dish was all cold. Anyway, the food is good and I would come again to this restaurant, especially now when I know how it works :)

Amazing! 60 baht for a plate of 3 items and rice. The food was so delicious. I highly recommend the green curry when you visit. I had this other curry in the banana leaf that was my least favorite but still tasted nice. I loved the soy and seaweed were so different and I loved the flavor! I really want to come back to this place during my time in Bangkok. The woman who works here is also very nice. The walls are decorated with every lonely planet book that they are listed in. It’s adorable, but definitely worth it to be in all those books. Yes yes yes. Would come again.

This was an excellent meal - just what I was hoping for from vegan food in Thailand, authentic ingredients and preparation. When we walked up they quickly put some brown rice on a plate and showed through the options, ladling on whatever we desired, and in just a minute we each had a plate. The flavors were intense and complimentary, the proprietor gave fair warning if something was spicy. No-frills sort of stand and that was perfect. If you’re looking for vegan in Bangkok but also feel like you’re missing out on street food, this is a must go.

Arawy Vegetarian Food is a hidden gem for those who love authentic, delicious, and simple vegetarian cuisine. The food here is anything but plain—every dish is bursting with flavor! The variety is impressive, with many options to choose from. If you're unsure, the classic combo of rice with three toppings is a perfect introduction. I highly recommend the green curry, massaman, and the fried bits with nori—each one is a treat for the taste buds.

The prices are incredibly affordable, and the portions are just right, leaving you satisfied without feeling overly full. The woman running the place is wonderfully kind and patient, making the experience even more enjoyable. If you're hesitant, don't be—this place is all about honest, home-cooked meals that taste amazing. It's not fine dining, but it's comfort food at its best. Definitely...

The lady is kind and nice. She seems like a loving grandmother. However, the food was not delicious. I chose some deep fried veggie over some noodles, and, to my surprise, it was served at room temperature (in Thailand that is pretty warm, like 90° farenheit) but it tasted lukewarm and even if it had been preprepared and sitting out there for hours, I believe it should have been either microwaved or heated up on a stove top. The deep fried veggie tasted good or really good, but the noodles were disgusting. I came here because I wanted to believe it was a different vegan restaurant I found by chance on my last day here on my last trip here, because that place has 50 baht plates which are totally vegan and cooked while you are there. However, this place is sadly not the place I was looking for and I can't remember the name of the...
