Benny’s on the beach.. has to be without a doubt the best food I ate on Koh Lipe. I went twice in as many days. If you like piña coladas, then Benny’s has you covered, they were delicious, cold and freshly made. I had the falafel tacos the first time and was blown away, fresh crunchy vegos in a freshly made taco with a dressing I would’ve drank a glass of. The falafel was fresh and fluffy to boot. Unfortunately one of them rolled in the sand and I did consider eating it as no doubt it would have made the sand taste amazing. The second time I ordered a Benny’s Sunrise and again, fresh, cold and on the perfect side of sweet. Now, the tofu salad bowl took Benny’s up from superb to exemplary. The portion was huge and was an agreeable mix of tofu, mushrooms, peanuts, fresh vegos, rice and a tom yum style dressing I couldn’t get enough of. I would’ve gone in the evenings too if they were open. Benny’s on the beach slays. Get...
Read moreA bit of a letdown. Perhaps we should have come at a different time (we stopped in at 4pm for happy hour). The food did look delicious, but we didn't end up ordering - see why below.
We ordered HH drinks and it took probably 20mins to receive them after the bartender nearly told us she didn't want to make cocktails. Luckily, she let us have our drinks, but did take a while to get them. The drinks were not tasty, but they were strong.

If not for the so-so attitude of the bartender, we'd have tried another cocktail and also done food. But we didn't want to be there all evening to wait, and the coktails weren't all that great anyways.
Maybe we should come back to try breakfast, that seems to be the sweet spot. Avoid for happy...
Read moreThis is the best place by far for vegans as it's the only vegetarian place, but the food is actually good as well. The beach is mainly good for sunrises, probably why the place closes early, I wish it didn't I'd come here almost exclusively regardless of the beach
Their tea leaf salad was amazing and I know my tea leaf salads well, the smoothie bowl was good, would recommend both.
The papaya salad (som tum) is really good too, spicy though, would recommend. Along with the tofu basil, a little different than what I'm used to but good
I highly recommend the drunken noodle pasta... the taste, texture spiciness was intoxicating...
Other stuff we got was pretty good, I'd say they need to add rice and hummus to their bowls.
cool place, great ethos with some of the messaging decent outdoor vice with a good amount of...
