Once I checked in, I was in my room getting changed when all of a sudden two knocks came at the door (i didn’t answer as I wasn’t clothed) then I see two men coming back to my room (one was a staff member) and all of a sudden they opened the door and told me they needed to check the fridge. I opened the fridge and there was a weed brownie there… the man told me he stayed there last night and left it there, then asked me to eat it with him tonight. I was shocked and didn’t answer, I just looked at the staff member and he was smiling waiting for my answer. The man said again, “so you don’t want to eat this with me tonight?”. I said no and had a sour face as I wanted them to both know I was very uncomfortable with this situation, keeping in mind I am a solo female traveller and now this man knows I am alone, where my room is and the room is completely accessible from the beach and Main Street. I went to reception to let her know the situation and that I got a fright and don’t want it to happen again, I was very polite but she was defensive and blamed it on me as I didn’t answer the door when there was a knock. Whether I answer or not, you should not be accessing my room with all my belongings, maybe this is how they rob rooms to check if you’re there or not, they access it anyway. Also the night receptionist always had her head down whenever I was waking in/out, it made me feel like anyone could have access to my room if they really wanted. I left early that evening after reading the reviews of people always being robbed. I felt unsafe to leave my room. When I politely asked for a refund, I got a straight up no. Even though I was leaving as a fault of their own. Ladies don’t stay here if you care about...
Read moreMe and my partner booked this hotel because of the cheap price, however, when we arrived at the hotel they ran out of the rooms that we had so they put us in a different room but the Aircon broke and the toilet was clogged. We were changed to a different room that had a broken "do not disturb sign". We didn't think much of it until the end of the stay when they brought a broken umbrella to the lobby and said that we broke the umbrella from our room and that we broke the do not disturb sign. However, when I said it was already broken they laughed at us and said we have to pay. There were many broken umbrellas behind the woman at the front desk, which makes me think they would tell guests they broke them just to take the deposit. We said we wouldn't pay and they kept on pretending to call the police. Then eventually they just took our deposit and told us to leave. I lived in Thailand for a year and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had. Very unfortunate because it's a good location but the hotel ownership and staff seem to not care about customers and keep on trying to find ways to steal money...
Read moreExcellent location! Clean big room with water, coffee, kettle, fridge and had a great shower bath everything is available. Access to the beach. Even though it is a budget hotel, there is a swimming pool. The room was cleaned every day, and the staff is great! Near the Central Festival, 7/11 and restaurants. The pool was rather clean and right on the beach, if there is a pool bar it will be much better. Along with that, it’s not far from the busy strips but far enough for it not to be too noisy and simply easy access to anywhere. Nice friendly owner/recept and other cleaning staff. I can see that they are upgrading the place to be better... Just note to your driver this hotel is next to Chaweng Beach Street and is next to Evergreen resort, if not they will send you to their sister branch PTK Residence... I love my stay, I...
