I passed by this restaurant and thought, Wow, this place looks great! It seems like they serve authentic Thai food. May and Bim greeted us warmly and were very sweet, addressing our initial concerns with care. Unfortunately, while the service was pleasant, the food left much to be desired.

We started with the spring rolls, which were delicious and raised my expectations. However, the rest of the meal was disappointing.

The Beef Massaman curry was a major letdown. The beef was tough, rubbery, and overly watery. There were only four very small pieces of beef, and the rest of the dish was mostly potatoes-seemingly to make it look more substantial. Additionally, when the waiter asked about allergies, I specifically mentioned no nuts, yet the dish was served with nuts. While I didn’t want to make a scene, this oversight could have been dangerous for someone with severe allergies. I ended up giving the dish to my partner and later bought mango sticky rice from a nearby stall to fill my hunger.

The burger was also underwhelming, dry and lacking flavor-though the fries were good.

Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for authentic Thai cuisine. While they have other offerings, such as Italian dishes, which looked appealing from the next table, I can’t speak to their quality.

Despite the warm hospitality from May and Bim, the food quality and allergy oversight make it hard for me to suggest this place to others. There are better options in the area for those craving authentic and...

Called for a drink last night mainly due to the heavy rain downpour but also because it was somewhere we had noticed each evening and it looked busy and inviting. First impressions were good. Service was fast and friendly. I ordered some Thai food and 4 drinks in total. I went to the toilet and was horrified that not only was their no toilet paper, but the tap to the sink wasn’t turning on and was bent/broken. I had already used the hand soap so then had a handful it soap with no way of washing it off. I had to use tissues from the table outside in the restaurant. Also a big issue for me was the bin was full of soiled toilet paper and the smell was awful. The toilets were dirty in general and I left feeling that although the look of the bar looked amazing I wouldn’t return for hygiene reasons as if the public toilet is that bad what the...

We were drawn to this restaurant by its amazing décor, upbeat music, and romantic mood lighting—it definitely set a great atmosphere! Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the ambiance. The beef was very chewy, and the portion sizes were disappointingly small.

The staff were okay overall. They brought our alcoholic drinks promptly but forgot our water, which was a bit frustrating. That said, the service was quick, which we appreciated.

While the setting is beautiful, the experience would be much better if the food quality matched...

This beautiful restaurant only opened within the past week and is on a path to success. Recommended to us by staff at SALA Chaweng a must order is the Thai fusion carpaccio dish with mango salsa (as pictured). Each bite was delicate yet flavorful, perfect in this Thailand heat! We also ordered the vegetable spring rolls and they were the best we’ve had in Koh Samui. Can’t wait to return & try even more Italian-Thai Fusion dishes off their very innovative menu! The atmosphere and decor was also 5 stars⭐️

Starting with a cold face cloth, so refreshing. The staff are attentive and the menu is vast, range of food options. It I pricey, however the restaurant and atmosphere gives off expensive elegance. Hapt hour, the cocktails were delicious. Our daughter was very welcome by the staff which was nice. The toilets are a must visit, best in the area! We would happily return!
