Walked from Itsaraphap to Khao San passing by Wat Arun and taking in the touristic atmosphere.
The casual dining hawker-style restaurant was buzzing with diners. Apparently, it has received some accolades for their culinary. I had skipped breakfast hence I was super famished. I had those dishes all by myself!
The bee-hoon beef noodle comes in two portions. I should have gotten the larger one. I could imagine myself swimming in that beef broth! The slice beef was tender and the noodle carried the flavour well. This is highly recommended!
The beef skewers (just like the satay back home) were tender and packed with spices. The peanut sauce was smooth and thick which I think they used thickener (flour) which I don’t quite like but the taste are all there, not overly sweet and spicy.
The grilled beef balls’ texture was like the bakso but they were more tender and not springy/rubbery. The sweet, spicy and hot sauce seemed home-made. Tasted really good.

We will soon be returning to try out their other dishes (grilled beef balls, soups, khao mok daging). Highly...
Read moreStopped by for dinner because of google reviews, got the chicken biryan and the beef noodle.. and just. Wow. The cilantro sauce for the biryani is incredible. The beef noodle was very full of flavor.
It was so good we went again the next day for lunch, ordered the beef biryani, chicken biryani and beef noodle. The beef biryani was sooo delicious, the stew sauce they add is very good. Unfortunately the chicken for the chicken biryani wasnt served warm this time. The beef noodle broth wasnt as complex / flavourful and the noodles were different, thinner.
Overall very good food for a good price but didnt seem very consistent. Still very much worth stopping by...
