Sadly I can't share amazement over this place with other reviewers. We came to bakies roasters lured by 5/5 reviews. On that day we were supposed to checkout from our hotel so we just wanted to eat breakfast, drink coffee and go. Can't say that we were in some extreme rush but we were mindful of the time. We have ordered 2 black coffees and 2 scrambled egg sets. We got coffee quite fast but then we waited, and waited, and waited... I think there were 3 other people waiting for breakfast as well. Finally, after about 40 minutes they got their meals and it seemed that ours wasn't coming... We already drank our coffees so we've asked if the breakfast is coming any time soon as we're a bit in a rush. The couple behind the bar said that we should get it soon. I think after about another 10-15 minutes of waiting we finally got our meals. We ate in a rush, paid and ran to the hotel.

Considering the amount of people at the place, the waiting time was way too long. We were sitting by the bar so we could tell that the couple started preparing breakfasts very late as earlier they were preparing cake for something.

Food itself was good. Baguettes were heated up on oil so for some it might be a little bit too greasy. But overall ok.

If you have lots of time and want to chill in a nice cozy cafe then you can consider this place. If you're hungry / in a rush, go...

I had the most SCRUMPTIOUS brunch here! Service was warm, friendly, attentive and genuine. Cannot recommend this spot enough - the best brunch spot I have been to in Bangkok. And great, budget friendly pricing to top it off!

The food was simply delicious - I ordered the sourdough toast with scrambled egg, mushroom and tomato (pictured, 100THB) and water. The dish was fresh, lovingly prepared, presented and served, and importantly, transported me to brunch back home in London. Water came in a glass clip top bottle with a small drinking glass.

The owners are genuinely warm and kind hearted souls who engage with customers from the moment you enter by welcoming you, letting you know where you can sit (indoors or outdoors), find the menu and order. (Which some other places can lack).

If you’re thinking of frequenting, I guarantee you will not be disappointed! Go go go! And thank you Bakies...

Came here this morning for breakfast, and honestly – I’m not exaggerating – it was the best café experience I could’ve asked for. From the delicious food, to the incredibly kind and welcoming staff, to the music, the location, the price – everything was perfect.

ROASTERS sits on a quiet little riverside street, with cozy indoor and outdoor seating. The moment I walked in, I got the warmest welcome and genuine hospitality that made me feel right at home.

Most people give 5 stars when there’s nothing bad to say. I’m giving 5 stars because this was simply the best café experience I’ve had. No doubt I’ll be back every time I’m in Bangkok – and definitely again tomorrow morning!

If I could give 10/5, I would. There’s truly nothing to improve – just keep doing what you’re doing, with all the love and good vibes. Thanks for a fantastic start to my day – you’ve officially gained a...

If I could give bakies roasters 6 stars I would. If you’re having a bad day this is the place to visit, the minute I walked in I was greeted with the warmest welcome and the owner even took the time to ask my name. As previously reviewed, if you are in a rush to have breakfast then this isn’t the place for you, the food does take a little longer than an average cafe but it was certainly worth the wait, the sourdough is freshly made and absolutely delicious, the tomatoes super fresh and tasty and the scrambled eggs were cooked to perfection. The whole vibe of bakies is one to be enjoyed and not rushed! We decided to take some banana loaf away with us and it was delivered with a cute little message ✨

I came here three days in a row because it’s hands-down the best breakfast I’ve found. The eggs are soft and creamy, the sourdough is absolutely perfect airy with a nice crust and fluffy bite and the grilled tomatoes are a thoughtful touch. You can customize a sandwich or choose from their menu options, all at very fair prices. What really makes this place special, though, are the owners. They greet you with the biggest smiles, check in to make sure everything’s right, and truly make you feel welcome. They even offer free water with your meal, and I was able to refill my bottle a few times. If I’m ever back in Thailand, this café will absolutely be on my list again.
