This is an absolutely wonderful restaurant.
It does proper Tunisian food prepared by Tunisians for Tunisians. In fact I was the only foreigner there both times I visited.
For lunch I had an enormous and delicious Ojja escalope (chicken based dish). The cost was a ridiculous 14 dinar/€4.20 plus 3 dinar for a large bottled of chilled fizzy water.
After such a huge meal, later for dinner I had a smaller Plat Tounsi (tuna and egg based dish) for 8 dinar/€2.40 plus again 3 dinar for the water.
The menus are in French rather than Arabic which helped my understanding!
