Alta Nişantaşı — Restaurant in Şişli

This place used to the Barba, one of my favorite tavernas ever. Saw the comments on google and wanted to give it a try. Menu tries to be fine dining but it’s not. We tried 4 different dishes, they were at best average. Wine-list was poor and extremely expensive. Cocktails are ok and actually good value for money. If I were smoker (nice pictures are from the smoking area) who wanted to enjoy a classic cocktail I may give this place 5 stars. Yet, non-smoking area dinner...

We just went their by coincidence, actually we were going to next door restaurant and once we arrive their we feel to have look at this one and believe me it was the right decision. The staff was super friendly and courteous. They speak English very well. The food was really tasty and ambiance was wow. We spent the evening there and really enjoyed the dinner. When you are in Nishantasi you can’t miss this restaurant....

I decided to celebrate my birthday at this restaurant and I didn't regret it. Very atmospheric place. Welcomed a very friendly restaurant and the manager is a very positive man, there was live music in the hall, dim lights. The food is very tasty and unusual serving. The staff said happy birthday with an incredible dessert and song, everyone applauded. Recommended...
