This restaurant is visually stunning - modern, sleek, and with a truly wonderful view. The service was decent, but unfortunately, the food, pricing, and overall menu approach need a serious rethink.
The experience started off awkwardly when the waiter came over and enthusiastically suggested we try a few appetizers. He described several options and said we could pick 3–4. When I asked about the prices, he directed me to the digital menu—but the prices weren’t listed there either. He simply shrugged and said, “Maybe they changed the menu.” It gave the impression that we were choosing from a set-price tasting or it was included but we later discovered each appetizer was individually priced, ranging from 200 to 650 and totalled 1,500 for the 4. No transparency whatsoever.
When he returned to ask how we liked the starters, I mentioned we enjoyed three but not the fourth—again, just a shrug.
As for mains, the entire menu was seafood-focused, with everything listed at "market price," so we had no idea what anything would cost. We chose a risotto, a salmon pasta, and a cod dish. The risotto was bland, the salmon pasta was flavorful but overly oily, and the cod with side of fries and plain rise - at a shocking 1,400 (crazy!!) —was completely underwhelming, lacking seasoning and barely eatable.
Drinks? We skipped them entirely after seeing the absurd prices on the beverage menu.
It was a Saturday night, and we were the only diners there—a red flag in hindsight.
All in all, it ended up being the most expensive (and disappointing) meal of our weeklong trip. The place has enormous potential given its location and ambiance, but sadly, it falls flat on what matters most: the food and value offered for the prices. I truly wish we had chosen a...
Read moreThe worst meal I had during my two weeks in Turkey. Service was virtually nonexistent—we had to go up to the bar just to request a glass of wine. The salad we ordered never arrived, and the calamari came out cold with a rubbery texture. After repeatedly asking about our main course, we were eventually served a completely different type of fish than what we ordered. It was bland, poorly prepared, and barely had any meat—especially disappointing given the €75 price tag. To make matters worse, the fish was served alone with no sides or accompaniments. Overall, a truly awful experience I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
Update following management's response:
Given the management’s response to my review, I feel compelled to expand for the benefit of future diners: avoid this restaurant at all costs. Their inability to accept constructive, real criticism only further reflects the poor quality of both the food and service.
Management has gone so far as to claim that my review — and that of a family member who dined with me — is fraudulent. We are two separate individuals who had the same disappointing experience while dining together. The fact that they assert no complaints were received is baffling, especially considering I never specified the exact date of our visit. How can they be so certain which evening I’m referring to?
Moreover, a simple glance at other 1-star reviews shows a clear pattern of similar complaints. Rather than taking accountability, this restaurant appears more interested in deflection and denial than in delivering the quality experience they claim.

Read moreWe had a bad experience, similar to what eg Georgina Thompson wrote. Place seems to be hit or miss. I would prefer eating at a local place at any time, with simple but good food rather then coming back.
The experience: It starts with an amazing view, beautiful interior and nice temperature. This is what earned review 1 star. Then it turns to the worse.
Staff was trying hard to give good service, but tried too hard and made small mistakes in almost every moment. Biggest was trying to take our starters away when we where still eating and they came with the main course. This was of course a bit of bad timing between service and kitchen, which is surprising as we where alone at the time (we are a bit of early birds when it comes to eating).
Grilled fish was dry and vegetables unevenly cooked and portions small (eg 1 small potato, 1 small slice of carrot). This is not what is expected when it cost 1400 TL. Starters and wine were priced OK.
The card machine took 10-15 minutes to get working.
The concept of QR code for menu is just odd for a restaurant trying to be more classy, why not go all way and let us order by tablet/app/website Japanese style?
It was also weird from waiters to communicate only with me, when it came to orders or preferences and avoiding talking to my girlfriend. It felt so wrong in a modern world, so we chocked them with her paying the bill (hmm maybe that’s why machine wasn’t working 🧐).
Our final advice to the restaurant would to scale down the attempt of making posh food and connect more with Turkish roots and improve service.
