Gaziantep Közde Künefe Kebap Salonu — Restaurant in Fatih

On my last trip to Istanbul I had lunch at Gaziantep Közde Künefe Kebap Salonu restaurant in Istanbul, and I must say it was a fantastic experience. The restaurant is conveniently located, making it easily accessible for both locals and tourists.

The food at Gaziantep Közde Künefe Kebap Salonu was absolutely delicious. I decided to try their Adana kebab for the first time, and it exceeded my expectations. The meat was perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection, resulting in a tender and flavorful dish. It was accompanied by a fresh salad and boulghour, which complemented the kebab wonderfully.

One of the standout aspects of the restaurant was the friendly and attentive staff. They were welcoming and provided excellent service throughout my visit. Their warm hospitality added to the overall enjoyment of the meal.

We are Spiced Kebap, Chicken Shish, hummus, stuffed aubergine, kunefe.

My parents and I visited on the Sunday evening before Eid at 7:30pm and it was completely empty, so we were a little dubious about eating there. However, we trusted the reviews and sat down to order. The waiter was friendly and no sooner that we ordered we were given complimentary bread and spiced tomato salad meze.

As mentioned, the food was very tasty and well worth finding extra room for a kunefe desert. Heated over charcoal and freshly made, it was a real treat.

We also left the restaurant around 8:30pm and it was almost full! So definitely don’t worry if it’s quite there...

This is about to be a wild take, but this was the BEST meal I had in all of Istanbul! That statement carries a lot of weight, but omg was this spot ever authentic and delicious.

The Adana kebap platter was served with perfectly cooked and seasoned Adana. The lamb heart was not chewy and delicious. And the soup and hot side is salsa was spectacular. I gotta say this was the only place that has food with some heat 🌶️. The beyran is very flavorful too.
