By far one of the cleanest, tastiest and most honest restaurant in this neighbourhood.
Brimming with locals and the ‘stumbled upon’ tourists, this place is a brilliant gem of a local Lokanta.
The steps are,

Genuinely, a good balance of traditional meat and vegetarian dishes. Some staff speak English, or you can always resort to pointing.
I ordered the 5 hour roast lamb - Kuzu Tandir with seasoned Iç Pilav. Portions are not gladiator size (price reflects this) go for variation or simply order seconds.

It's hard to believe this is the price locals pay as well (there were actually locals that is why we first were very happy)- They didn't show us the menu so we couldn't really check and what the waiter said in the beginning was not in the bill ~ i seem to remember he said vegetable portion 220 lira and when we asked for explanation said like we received 1.5 portion?!.....). We ended up being very disappointed and suspicious of...
