Summary: DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR BREAKFAST.

We had breakfast here as we stayed at Suadhotel, thus breakfast was included. It was truly so BAD that we decided to leave the food on the table, get our breakfast elsewhere and didn't return for the remainder of our stay.

If you are visiting Istanbul, you will quickly notice that the menu is identical everywhere, so no surprises there - Turkish Breakfast is the same in 90% of cafes. But the quality differs massively, hence I recommend to look at other places if you are looking for a nice, Turkish Breakfast.

At Suad their Turkish Breakfast had 3-in-1 Nescafe coffee, powder orange juice, cold omlet, french baguette, cold french fries + chocolate cake (on the same plate?!) and a bunch of smaller plates, like everywhere else. Instant coffee and powder juice is an instant alarm that shows you how little they care about the quality. You will find fresh juice, Turkish bread, Turkish coffee in most other places, not to mention that meat, cheeses, olives are going to be of much better quality.

Haven't tried their menu, perhaps it's great, but we had enough red flags to stay away from this place for the rest of our stay...

We don't know what happened. Chef on vacation or generally the other reviews are wrong. Worst food I've ever had in Turkey, and I've been to Turkey about 20 times and lived here for about a year in that time combined - so believe me - I know what it should have been like.... everything was overcooked and felt old - Adana and Urfa where grey brown old - like a overdone flat meat ball not even close to the pictures. My lamb was shoe-sole hard - bread was fitting old - at least no exception there the chef kept it in tune - we were there on a Sunday - maybe leftovers from Saturday? The positive highlight was the great service - but in the end you're still there for the food - sorry, please change the chef or if he's not there, don't open - no idea, weird visit l. As the food is sooo bad and overshadowed everything we need it give it 1...

What an absolute gem! After a less-than-stellar experience elsewhere, finding this restaurant was a breath of fresh air. From the moment we stepped in, we were enveloped in a wonderfully cozy environment that immediately put us at ease. The customer service was simply wonderful – attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming without being intrusive. It's rare to find such a perfect balance. And speaking of honesty, this place excels! At the end of our meal, we were presented with a clear, transparent list of everything we ordered, without a single hidden charge. It was such a relief and truly set them apart. I would absolutely, without a doubt, come back again. This restaurant has left me with genuinely good memories of my time in Istanbul, and I can't recommend it highly enough. A...

If you’re in Istanbul, Suad Glocal Kitchen is an absolute must-visit! We tried their signature Ottoman clay pot lamb dish and it was nothing short of spectacular. The experience of the dish arriving in a sealed clay pot, cracked open at the table, made it both authentic and unforgettable. The lamb was incredibly tender, infused with rich spices, and paired perfectly with vegetables that soaked up all the smoky, slow-cooked flavors from the fire. It truly felt like tasting history—comfort food elevated to an art form. The staff was warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere with the open fire oven made the whole meal feel special. This is hands-down one of the best traditional dining experiences we’ve had in Istanbul. Highly recommend ordering the lamb clay pot—you won’t regret it!

We went there for a late breakfast as we had a few tours booked in the morning. We did ask if they still serve breakfast, and once it was confirmed, we sat down and were presented with their breakfast menu. We ordered turkish breakfast for two at the cost of 750tl. Initially, service was good, but as soon as our breakfast was served, we were ignored. Most of their team sat down and started to use mobile phones instead. We decided not to order anything else and asked for the bill. To our surprise, they charged us 825tl instead of 750tl, and we were told it's the tax. Be aware and double check before sitting down, or you might get a nasty surprise at the end too.
