Zeugma Terrace Steak House — Restaurant in Fatih

We dined as a couple and spent around €115 — ordered a mix kebab, a steak, and some sauces as starters. Unfortunately, the food tasted more like something from a basic cafeteria. Everything was very average and forgettable, especially considering the high expectations from a place with a 4.9 rating.

The presentation is extremely outdated and tacky. The steak was served on a sizzling hot metal tray — yes, it looks dramatic, but in reality, the tray is so hot that the steak keeps cooking and ends up overdone and rubbery. It becomes almost impossible to eat. The kebab was very basic — nothing special at all.

It feels like the chef is still stuck somewhere in the early ’90s. We strongly suggest the restaurant rethinks its kitchen approach and seriously consider updating both presentation and recipes — if not hiring a new chef altogether.

Also, be aware that the high rating seems artificially boosted. At the end of the meal, the staff specifically ask you to leave a high score and review. That’s likely how they maintain their 4.9.

Now for the positives: the view is truly stunning, and the atmosphere is pleasant. The dessert was genuinely delicious — the only part of the meal that really stood out.

yesterday we were coming back from grand bazaar when my husband found hidden GEM 💎 of istanbul’s and my husband immediately decided to come for dinner,so we went there around 9pm their staff welcomed us with beautiful smile 😊 first the serve’s tea coz the weather was so cold then complimentary hot bread with their salad and olives,so we ordered their lentil soup and salad from the menu which surprisingly super tasty so our confidence got high and ordered their ribeye steak 🥩 after waiting patiently our steak arrived with superb presentation and great great taste and we loved the every bit of it after finished our food again we were served with baklava and tea which is cherry on the top 🥰 and we didn’t know the person who took our order was the owner of the restaurant what a gentleman he is sooo simple and very respectful and he was the reason we decided to go again today for his recommendation for lamb chops and he amazed us once again and loved everything 🥰their hospitality was top notch all the waitresses were so kind and i want to thank again to the owner of the restaurant whose name is mr ORHAN u really made our last day in istanbul memorable 🙏🏻 i highly recommend this restaurant to everyone☺️ THANK YOU...

Eating here is a true 5 Star experience, unlike most of the other restaurants I've been to in Istanbul.

The customer service is REALLY good and they're friendly. Some of them also speak English. Sanira the customer service assistant was extremely helpful, nice, attentive and helped make the experience even better.

The menu looks nice and has pictures and English descriptions of the food. The main dishes were quite expensive to be honest, but as other reviewers have stated, it's well worth the price.

The Zeugma & Diana steak were cooked medium, well seasoned, came fresh, sizzling hot and were ABSOLUTELY TO DIE FOR. I thoroughly enjoyed my entire meal.

The tea and baklava with ice cream is served on the house. Which was such a pleasant surprise.

Although the view and atmosphere was nice, the lighting and interior decor is very basic.

I would 100% come back here again, because you really do get what you pay for, and then some. They really go out of their way to make you feel warm, welcomed and serviced...
