Yes, this is the place. The view is spectacular, and I could sit there all day imaging the history represented, with two of the most beautiful buildings in the world, and one of the most important sea lanes in full view, you can see that you are in a pivotal place in the world’s development! A lovely setting. But you came here for dinner, and let me say, they have an expansive menu, and it is expertly prepared, you will not be disappointed! Wonderful selection of delicious offerings. Nw of course, this being Turkiye, you expect the hospitality to be above average, and of course, it exceeds expectations. I was treated so well, that I never thought of going elsewhere. At Dinner, breakfast, Nara’s expert care and attention to detail made me feel like a favorite uncle. At dinner, Ilhami and his manager Murat, (my apologies on the spelling!), Really excelled. Ilhami became a trusted advisor guiding me towards new dishes, with a personal warmth and charm. He knew that I would only have three dinners in Istanbul, and he made each a treasured experience. I doubted him only once, when he said he had something more delicious than baklava, but then he rolled out the “Irmik Helladic” Semolina Halva! He then gifted me a cup of the best coffee I have ever enjoyed. He is now a friend for life. If your time is limited you don’t waste it.this is the place. You may just find that it is the place you’ll want to return to time after time. It’s easy to write a good review when you are still sitting in the glow of an excellent experience, but I write this after a13 hour flight cramped in a plane and two more stuck on the tarmac! The memory of my meals at the Panaramic keeps me smiling.. Thank you Nara, Ilhami, and everyone there. You are the reason Turkiye is famous for...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at the Panasonic restaurant with an absolutely breathtaking view of the Aya Sofia and the Blue Mosque, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, everything was just perfect - from the excellent service to the unbelievable views, and of course, the heavenly food.
As soon as I arrived at the restaurant, I was greeted by friendly staff who immediately made me feel welcome. They led me to a table with a prime view of the Aya Sofia and the Blue Mosque, and I was completely awestruck by the stunning scenery. I could hardly believe my eyes - it was like something out of a postcard.
The customer service at this restaurant is truly unmatched. Ilhami and Murat were attentive and accommodating, making sure that my every need was met. They were knowledgeable about the menu and were able to make recommendations that suited my tastes perfectly.
And let me tell you about the food. It was like nothing I've ever tasted before - every dish was a perfect blend of flavors and textures, and each bite was a revelation. The chefs clearly take great care in preparing their dishes, and it really shows in the quality of the food.
But what really sets this restaurant apart is the view. The Aya Sofia and the Blue Mosque are two of the most iconic landmarks in Istanbul, and to be able to enjoy a meal with such a stunning backdrop is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I couldn't believe my luck to be able to dine in such a beautiful setting.
Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to experience exceptional food and unparalleled views in Istanbul. It's truly an unforgettable experience that I will cherish for...
Read moreTerrible experience!!!
I went to dinner with my wife and we ordered risotto, it was nasty, with very poor flavour, the waiter told me that it was just risotto and cheese, but I love risotto and normally if the taste is good, not much ingredients are needed. Somehow I felt not welcome, heard the waiter talking i my back about the risotto with it's colleges and even at one point see him pointing at me as he talked. we almost didn't eat anything, and nobody asked us if there was something wrong, at some more modest spaces it happened, it would be expected at a restaurant "apparently" "better".
At the end when it was time to pay, the waiter told us that the service was not included, not telling us any kind of rule or value. After 12 days i Turkey, and 24 meals out, there where only 2 places that charged us for service, so we did't quit expected there was any kind of percentage in effect as rule, but in the back of my mind I think those places that charged, it was 10%. The bill was 1480 turkish liras and we left 100 (not that he deserved with everything that happened). When we got o the elevator the waiter came running, and I really think that he was coming to tell us that the service was in fact the 10%, but the door closed...
