First of all, I must say this Cave Hotel is spectacular in every way. And I am very pleased and happy that I made the right decision to choose Zara Cave Hotel and bring my family with me. To begin, the whole staff is amazing, they are extremely professional and friendly, I repeat, friendly to the max. I only regret not writing all of their names down to mention it on my review. From reception, staff, housekeeping, chefs, and managers, never failed to make our stay memorable. Speaking about location, it's just walking distance to almost everything near by, from supermarkets, bazaar, restaurants and many more things... They have amazing roofs with perfect designs and settings for your perfect snapchat, Instagram or social media photos. Our room was 103 and as per the staff it's the biggest room they have among other 16 rooms which makes a total of 17 rooms in the hotel. We were family of 4 but nonetheless the room seemed like an apartment and beds are so comfortable and it's so cozy as it gives you the feel of staying in a modern cave. You get to have huge bathroom, kitchen and dining area, big sofas and bedroom and they also offer all you need for toilet amenity.
Breakfast was included and it is by far the best breakfast I had in Turkey, vegetables and fruits are fresh. hygienic level is tremendous and as precautions of covid19 they confirm with guests their preferred time to have breakfast to avoid socializing and the offer you plastic gloves while picking your food, how clean is that? They come to your table and ask how's everything and asks you if you'd like to have eggs they way you like them, how perfect. Teasily managed to book with them transport from and to airport with ease at very affordable price, I also booked with them swab test and the staff comes to the hotel to take your swab test at your convenient time, and results in 6hrs and they send it to your and you may choose to print it too. They also offer wide selection of activities and we book with them at ease hot air balloon tour (Skyway Ballon) and we also book ATV Quad bike Safari through rock-cut valleys. It was amazing adventure specially having the opportunity for great sight-seeing, as one is enabled to roam the hills, valleys, dunes, and trails of the Cappadocia. Lastly, I want to thank each and everyone in Zara Cave Hotel for their dedication and love towards themselves and others, it's true reflection that anyone can see. Thighly recommend everyone to boom with them because it's worth every penny you spend. I...
Read moreThe room was immaculately clean. It was a beautiful cave room. I love how they played on the lighting to set the right mood for us who were celebrating our wedding anniversary. The breakfast was a Turkish feast. My husband and I were happy to get a taste of the authentic Turkish breakfast. The fruits and vegetables were fresh. I saw the guy delivering the fresh fruits and vegetables one morning. Then I realized that what we were eating were fresh from the farm. The highlight of all is the staff service. Emre and Reza were the perfect hosts. They helped us in every possible way like finding the best place to buy ceramic plates and zultanite jewelry. They give you honest advice. For example they told us don't buy the rugs or jewelry in the town center but go straight to the factory to get the authentic ones with better prices. We followed their advice and I was happy I did. The price of the jewelry were half the price compared to the town center. The ceramic we got were much prettier and cheaper from the factory. Emre and Reza even arranged our other excursions and taxis without getting a penny from it. We paid the vendors directly and our taxis were metered. They are genuine people. Reza even helped us in our Istanbul trip and helped arrange our transportation which were so much cheaper than the ones I got straight from Istanbul hotels. There's nothing this people can't do. Oh and they also helped arranged a photographer for us to take our photos. Their staff even helped arrange the set by putting fruits and wine on the table where we're taking photos. I love Zara Cave Hotel and I would definitely recommend them to friends. They will make your stay...
Read moreLocation is superb - very close to the main square (taxis, restaurants, etc.) of Goreme but far away enough to avoid any noise. Room and bedding are both supremely comfortable, with excellent sheets and amazing, amazing water pressure. Since it's centrally located, you can very easily watch the balloons in the morning from the terraces provided, just outside your room. In the afternoons these turn into great spaces to hang out or do work if you're choosing to spend the day at the hotel, which we elected to do for a few of the days we were here. You're also only a 10 minute walk from the Sunset Point in Goreme, which is also another phenomenal viewing spot for the sunset or sunrise.
Breakfast is included and is a fantastic spread of Turkish foods every day with included beverages. One of the best breakfast spreads I've had at a hotel.
The tours they can book for you include ATV riding, horseback riding, balloon tours, and anything else that you can think of in Cappadocia.
One of the main reasons this hotel receives 5 stars is the service though - from before your trip even starts, the staff reach out to ask about anything they can do to make your stay better. This includes scheduling tours, airport transfers, etc. all at a very very reasonable price (10 euro per person for transfer to hotel). We had the smoothest pickups upon arrival at the airport with absolutely zero hassle. Everyone at the hotel is incredibly kind and welcoming and look to make sure you have the best stay possible.
Absolutely, 100% recommend this hotel if you're visiting Cappadocia. I can't express how happy we were with this stay and will absolutely book here again...
