Mosquito — Restaurant in Kadıköy

Mosquitoes are necessary for the world just like every other creature. But these flies are seriously the most annoying and sickly ones. This comment was just for the fun name of this diner. At first, it seemed like a cute name but now, not so much. The food here is average. The decoration is hippie style. When it comes to staff, some are fun and outspoken. Others are plain rude. Apparently, there is also a requirement here; you must buy something to drink or eat. On one occasion, when my group and I visited, only three of us wanted to eat while the other two did not. Unfortunately, the waiter insisted that we had to order something, so we ended up getting some tea. When we asked the reason, they said it was because of the lack of economy. That was not a pleasant experience. However, the prices are not so bad for the filling burgers. So depending on what you are looking for, you might want to give it a try. Just don't expect anything...

Good location and great atmosphere. Sadly the food was mediocre. I ordered a Burger. The burger meat was a complete disappointment. It was overcooked and tasteless. It did not even feel like meat, it felt more like fried meshed potato burger. The apple slice potatoes were OK. The greens that comes with the meal merely were comprised of a few white cabbage leafs and 1/4 cherry tomato. Service was barely OK. I ate much better burgers in similar places for...

Serves since 1993 to a loyal customer base. Well known to the youngsters of 90's. Nice quite place to spend time in. Mostly plays nice music at reasonable volume. Has limited open air seating. Hot chocolate is highly recommended...
