Mega Hamam SPA — Restaurant in Muratpaşa

Very highly recommended! We stayed in the Miracle hotel during our recent holiday to Anatalya. This was our first trip to Turkey and we wanted the Turkish bath experience - after checking out our hotel prices it was so expensive, plus we wanted an authentic and local experience of a Hamam and massage, so spent the evening goggling one that was local to us, after visiting Mega Hamam's website and seeing they offered free transfer and return back to hotel that was the selling point for us! I WhatsApp'd the lovely lady owner and she was fantastic and after explaining there was 6 us, she offered us a package and a nice discount. We arranged for a 12pm pickup the next day and she came with a driver, the car was fantastic and we really did feel like VIP, they offered us a bottle of water during our half an hour trip and they also played music via their TV screen, to keep us entertained. When we arrived there was no messing about (which we liked), we were provided a locker to put our valuables in and then straight to the changing room. We were allocated a lovely lady to each of us and even though their English was limited, they helped us feel comfortable and guided us in what to do. We had our underwear on, but told us to strip naked - good job they did as we had no idea what we needed to do (cloths and towels provided to cover our modesty, all very tasteful). They then put us in the sauna for 15 mins, then steam room for 10 mins, then salt room for 5 and then into the Hamam! It was so amazing, lovely and warm and exfoliated the turkish way! - Way better than all of us had imagined! Felt like a baby and was taken great care of - we all never felt cleaner! After the scrub, the foam bath, hair wash, we then were moved to our individual massage room and had a brilliant thai massages lasting an hour! I had Selma and for the whole time she kept the same amount of pressure on every part of my body - pushing out all of my knots (there was lots)! So good! After the massage, she applied the mud mask and I lay there for 15 mins for it to dry before washing it off myself. And then back to the changing room to get dressed, dried our hair and then went into the waiting room/reception area where we were served the most delicious Turkish tea and Turkish delights! The whole experience lasted 2 hours and was worth every single penny! Our husbands all went the next day and they said exactly the same! Really happy with the whole experience. It is a local looking place and as we were making our way through each section, we did see other guests which we were not bothered about (but if you are sensitive about these things then at least you know) as we had towels covering ourselves. Loved that the hosts were super friendly, even though their English was limited we were always made to feel safe and comfortable. As we left they provided us with a free gift to take home, and helped to take some photos for us, and then drove us back to the hotel safely! Honestly the highlight of our holiday! 10/10 recommended...

PLEASE FIRE THE MAN WORKING AT THE SPA ASAP!!!

I'm referring to the man behind the counter, which it seems to act as a manager. It's TERRIFYING to have a PUSHY Turkish man harassing you with his phone, asking for tips EVERY SINGLE CHANCE HE GETS.

REVIEWS HAVE MENTIONED THIS MULTIPLE TIMES, and yet, the owner appears to IGNORE them. This man shoves a phone in your face with a message saying, "Don't forget to tip me." However, HE DOES NOTHING except follow you around, making you feel EXTREMELY UNSAFE.

While you're vulnerable without your clothes and your belongings stored in a locker, this large man intimidates you into tipping for whatever reason (???).

IF MANAGEMENT SEES THIS REVIEW, FIRE HIM IMMEDIATELY. He’s scared SO MANY customers and is damaging the spa's reputation beyond repair.

It's sad for the other staff, especially the women who provide excellent hamam and spa services, but this man ruins EVERY SINGLE TIME I VISIT.

AND ONE TIME, he even tried to sell me HASHISH after I left. Please, fire him and protect your reputation, your customers, and the livelihoods of your hardworking staff.

PS. If this review is met with a reply like "we don't know who you're talking about" or "there isn't a male manager, please tell us who you are referring to," you'll know that whoever reads this—possibly the owner—is aware of the issue and doesn't want to handle it directly. You know who this man is. EVERYONE knows who this man is. Please be smart about this...

This was such a great find! We were well taken care of and it was a great experience overall. English is not well spoken but they did their best to communicate everything clearly, and there was always someone to direct or help us find our way. Everything was on a schedule though so if you’re looking for something less time restrictive / time flexible, this is not the place for you. We chose the luxury spa package for €99, which included practically all their spa treatments (private), including a private jacuzzi after a 90-minute massage. All in all, we were there for 3.5hours including the shower after and changing back into our clothes. We were also offered some refreshments, which was included in our package, namely some cold/ warm beverages, fresh fruits and some lovely turkish delight snacks:)

NB: Please note that you will have to be nude throughout. However, they offer towels to cover your privates during the spa treatments and as you walk...
