I placed an order online through the Smiles application, which I have always found convenient and reliable in the past. However, this time, I encountered a series of unfortunate events that left me extremely dissatisfied.
To begin with, it took an unexpectedly long time for my order to be approved through the application. Feeling concerned about the status of my order, I decided to call the restaurant directly to confirm its progress. I spoke to a lady who assured me that my order had been approved and everything was in order. Little did I know that there was a technical issue preventing the restaurant from making the cake I had ordered.
I find it troubling that the restaurant confirmed my order without informing me about their inability to make the cake. It is disappointing to realize that I was eagerly anticipating the arrival of the cake to surprise my cousin, only to be let down due to a lack of communication on your end. I had planned this surprise with great care, and not being able to fulfill it was disheartening.
Furthermore, when I reached out to the Smiles customer service team to address this issue, they mentioned that they would raise a complaint regarding my order. However, it took nearly two hours for them to inform me that the cake could not be made. This delay, coupled with the initial confirmation from the restaurant, added to my disappointment and frustration.
As a loyal customer of Baskin Robbins, I have always enjoyed your products and the service provided. However, this recent experience has left me questioning the reliability and efficiency of your service. I believe it is crucial for a company to maintain clear communication with its customers, especially when it comes to fulfilling their orders and expectations.
