Panda Bao Bao — Restaurant in Abu Dhabi

Panda Bao Bao has moved. They are in transition but are open and serving great Chinese food as usual

I like the new restaurant. It has more parking, bigger restaurant, lovely ambiance and best of all is the food. 👍

The staff is great and friendly and helpful.

Currently it has the same fantastic Chinese food plus new delicious dishes with a Szechuan flair. The menu may evolve in the future. Let’s see.

However the new dishes I tried were fantastic. Can’t wait to go back and try more

I love the Panda theme throughout the restaurant, from entry to pandas of all sizes distributed around and the dinnerware.

Very small restaurant but clean. Fits at most 20 in that little space. The handmade noodles are very good. Order the 'shrimp soup bao' if you wish to try the traditional mince meat and broth dumplings. The 'xiao long pau' in the menu there refers inaccurately to steamed buns wrapped with some mince meat inside. Service is friendly, but it takes a long while for the food to arrive. When we were there, there were only 4 customers in the shop(including us) but it took them more than 20 mins to serve the food. Nevertheless the food is alright, not too...

They moved to this new place. Food is good. Fried noodles is good. Desert is also good. Try the Lao Sa Pau - hot salty century egg liquid dripping out of the bao when you bite into it. The food is handmade fresh, and not bought from some manufacturing company, so top marks.

Updated @ 2019 November. Service is indeed EXTREMELY SLOW. It was never like this when I came previously in October. Food came 45 mins after ordering....!! The prawns in the friend noodle was not fresh, it smells...
