A Brunch to Remember at Central, Yas Bay
From the moment we stepped into Central at Yas Bay, we knew we were in for a treat. The restaurant's prime location offers a breathtaking view of the canal, setting the stage for a remarkable dining experience.
As we settled in for brunch, the first thing that struck us was the freshness of the food. Every dish served was a testament to the high-quality ingredients and the chef's skill in bringing out their best flavors. The drinks, too, were nothing short of incredible, each one crafted to complement the meal perfectly.
But what truly set the ambience apart was the amazing music. It had a vibrant yet soothing quality that made our dining experience even more enjoyable. After the meal, we were delighted to find a selection of great video games, which were perfect for digesting and having a great time with our family and friends. It added a unique and enjoyable twist to our brunch experience.
A special mention must be made of Arnold, who was the epitome of excellent service. He was always on top of our drink orders, anticipating our needs before we even voiced them. His constant smile and attentiveness made our brunch just perfect.
In summary, Central in Yas Bay isn't just a place to eat; it's an experience. With its stunning canal views, fresh and delectable food, delightful drinks, entertaining music, and engaging video games, it's the perfect spot for a memorable brunch with loved ones. Arnold and the rest of the staff's exceptional service only elevate the experience. We'll definitely be...
Read moreBeen there twice and have the same complain. First visit was when my husband and i went there coz we were in mood for some bowling and beers and the second time it was with my girlfriends for a ladies evening. No complains about the vibe, or the games the place has to offer. My food review will be limited to starters coz my both visits WE WERE REFUSED MAINS. Both the times the staff didn't think it was necessary to inform us about the kitchen closing. Usually in most restaurants it is a common courtesy to inform all tables about the last order before closing the kitchen but surely the staff of Central isn't trained or aware of that. Specially when u see that a table of 4-6 have only ordered some starters and drinks and havnt got to mains one would come to ask for their last order. Both the times we were asked for our last drink order and when we wanted to place mains along with it we were told that the kitchen is already closed and the chef has left. First time was around midnight but our second visit we were told about kitchen closing at 2300. Apart from this my recent visit the service was very slow, we had to repeat our drink orders constantly. Even for a bottle of water I had to remind her 4 times, yes 4 times for a bottle of water and even then she gets me cold water when clearly I had been repeating myself for a bottle of room temperature water.
Out of the 2-3 dishes that i have had there all nibbles, Cajun Prawns is delicious and definitely worth a try. The place is only good for games and drinks, don't expect much...
Read moreI had waited to leave a review in hopes that Central would follow up to our attempt to reach out via their Customer Service form/email, however a week later and we still have not received any follow up or even acknowledgment of receipt.
Our first visit was prior to an event at the Etihad arena. The place was busy but we were happy to sit at the bar where we had a great experience, good food, and who doesn’t appreciate a good happy hour. We appreciated the music, atmosphere, and bar service.
The second visit we planned to have a fun night out, but cut our evening short after the disappointing service and food. We sat at a hightop, waited (and waited) for service, food arrived quickly and was ok, drinks were ok (room temp), and then we never saw our server again until 40ish minutes later. In the meantime we sat there with empty plates and empty drinks and no one ever came to our table. When we spoke to a manager he told us that he and other servers were around and it was up to us to flag people down if we needed assistance.
