We recently visited Mangolian near Abu Dhabi mall and were extremely disappointed with the service. Our server was incredibly rude and unprofessional from the moment we sat down. They were dismissive when we asked questions about the menu, acted annoyed when we placed our order. Any attempt to ask for basic things, like water refills, was met with eye-rolls and short, curt responses. Since we were a group of 12 sitting within an extremely small space inside the restaurant, we were considered loud. We were shouted at and spoken very rudely by a server lady.
We were also billed for a dish that we did not order but were served this dish by mistake by the server !
Dining out should be an enjoyable experience, but this server made it uncomfortable and unpleasant. While the food was decent, the service completely overshadowed it. Read moreOn Saturday i visited Mongolian Chinese restaurants at 8.30 pm tourist club area branch, and ordered the below Spicy prawn soup Chicken fried rice Chicken cashew nuts
While having soup suddenly my attention went towards the prawns and i was disgusted. Chef didn't remove the vein in prawns. Upon making complain, the server is telling me she checked with chef, now they will ensure all prawns are clean.
Cashews used in in chicken cashew were of very poor quality.
At the time of payment , they even billed me for the soup when i told there was problem in soup rather than being apologetic she was so stubborn, she replied that u had the soup, so i have to pay. This behavior shocked me that am I crazy the moment I found the prawns were not cleaned I stopped eating soup. She also asked me are u our regular customer!; dont know why.

Shanghai fried rice with broccoli and black mushrooms was very yummy. Vegetables in hot and spicy sauce were delicious. The food is very tasty, portions are large and reasonably priced. If you want to enjoy chinese food, Mongolian is the way to go. Enjoy the food in the outdoor weather with your family...
