Pho Ha Noi is a new Vietnamese restaurant on the salam street behind ADNOC Distribution. The interior makes you feel in Vietnam with lanterns of different shapes, sizes and colours hanging from the ceiling. One of the walls is adorned by famous Vietnamese hats worn by farmers in the paddy fields. The atmosphere is vibrant and festive. We ordered crunchy papaya salad, crispy fried veg. spring rolls, mix vegetables in herbs and sauces, veg fried rice, fried rice with chicken and shrimps. The rice used is a typical sticky version normally eaten in far east. The fresh orange juice was refreshing but the Vietnamese tea with milk and sago balls was fantastic. The food was very Vietnamese, so dont expect a desi version like chinese. At the moment there is very less option for vegetarian dishes which needs to be expanded. Read moreHigh expectations! A tad disappointed as we visited after reading great reviews of this eatery. Perhaps authentic Vietnamese cuisine needs a bit more time for me to get accustomed to and even though it was our first visit the host at our table did not put forward any recommendations of his own.The place wasn't busy with only two other tables occupied during the time we were there. The lemon grass grilled chicken was also succulent and makes for a meal by itself. The grilled minced chicken Bun cha was just average, served with some rice and sweet sauce on the side ,the dish dint tickle our palates sufficiently. We topped off our meal with the peach orange lemon grass tea. Nevertheless we intend to sample some more dishes from their...
