A Taste of Karachi in Dubai!
During my recent visit to Dubai, I found myself longing for a taste of home—Karachi’s iconic Nihari. Thankfully, my close friend, familiar with my love for authentic flavors, suggested we visit Daily Express Restaurant in Al Barsha.
The moment we stepped inside, I was greeted by the warm aroma of freshly cooked spices, instantly transporting me to the bustling streets of Karachi. The ambiance is simple but cozy, focusing entirely on the culinary experience.
Now, the highlight: the Nihari. It was nothing short of perfection. The slow-cooked beef was tender, flavorful, and paired beautifully with the thick, aromatic gravy. The balance of spices was impeccable, and the addition of fresh ginger, green chilies, and a dash of lime elevated the dish to another level. The freshly baked naan complemented it perfectly, making every bite a nostalgic delight.
The service was prompt and friendly, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable given the quality and portion sizes. It’s clear the chefs take pride in delivering an authentic Karachi-style experience.
If you’re a Karachiite in Dubai or someone eager to try one of Karachi’s most beloved dishes, Daily Express Restaurant is a must-visit. For me, it wasn’t just a meal—it was a journey back to my...
Read moreI wish I could give zero star. We used to enjoy their biryani and regularly ordered chicken biryani for our office. However, the last two orders, including today’s, were disappointing as the biryani was excessively oily, tasteless, and completely unappetizing.
When we complained about a previous order, the management refused to replace it, showing zero regard for customer satisfaction. Unfortunately, the same issue happened again today – a biryani so greasy and flavorless that it’s inedible.
This restaurant clearly has no quality control, and their service is just as poor as their food. We will never order from here again. Save your money and go elsewhere because management is not capable to take care of customers.
Lastly, when the restaurant staff came to collect the biryani, he called the restaurant, and we informed them that today’s order would be our last. Instead of showing any courtesy or concern, the staff simply responded with an indifferent “okay,” reflecting the restaurant’s rude and dismissive attitude. It’s clear they have enough business and couldn’t care about...
