Bay Bites Restaurant & Party Hall — Restaurant in Dubai

This is a fantastic restaurant in the Business Bay area of Dubai, near the Holiday Inn Express, where we stayed for a week recently. We dined in as a family, as well as ordered delivery through WhatsApp. Both services impressed us greatly. The dine-in experience was fabulous as the restaurant is very clean and the servers are humble and friendly. We ordered several dishes, such as their vegetarian penne pasta, grilled salmon, a Filipino dish, spicy cheese shawarma, and fresh juices. All were delicious! What I was especially impressed by was their free delivery via Whatsapp right to our hotel. I could chat with them about their menu and the response time is almost immediate. Fantastic!

Plus, the delivery person conveniently had a card machine, so I could pay with my credit card. The only thing was that I requested Bay Bites to message me on WhatsApp to let me know when the delivery person was on his way, so I could be down in my hotel lobby. But instead, the delivery person had the hotel staff call my room number, which was fine also. I don’t like keeping anyone waiting, but the deliveryman was patient and a down-to-earth good guy.

On our last day in Dubai at Holiday Inn, we ordered chicken tikka masala with butter naan, cheese naan, and cream kunafa. All were mouthwatering, especially the ooey gooey melty cheese naan which I tried for the first time! The best part is that the prices at Bay Bites are very reasonable for such a great quality restaurant. Bay Bites has a variety of cuisines such as South Indian, North Indian, Pakistani, Mexican, Filipino, and others, so next time I’m in Dubai, I want to try their other dishes and I would recommend you to try it too. I would like to share my feedback based on our recent visit to your restaurant. This is actually my second time dining at BayBites..... My first experience, which was shortly after your opening, was very impressive. Despite it being summer at that time, the ambiance was comfortable, and the food—especially the grilled fish—was excellent. Everything felt fresh and well-prepared.

However, during our recent lunch with family and some of friends, we were quite disappointed with several aspects of our visit.

To start with the positives, the kare-kare was delicious. Some dishes like the tapsilog , Zinker , were acceptable—nothing extraordinary, but satisfactory.

Unfortunately, the main issues we encountered were as follows: • The sherry grill (priced at AED 40) did not meet expectations. It seemed frozen rather than fresh, and the grilled flavor was lacking. • The prawn tempura, pizza was overly dry and bland. • The seafood soup had little to no flavor, and it was served quite late—almost after we had finished the rest of our meal. • Food serving time overall was quite long, which made the dining experience less enjoyable. • Lastly, the dining area was uncomfortable due to the inadequate air conditioning, especially considering the summer heat. This greatly affected our ability to enjoy the meal.

While we appreciate the effort from your team, we felt that the value for money was not justified, particularly given the quality of some of the dishes. We truly hope you take this feedback constructively and use it to improve your service, food quality, and overall customer experience.

It was located at Business Bay Metro Station Exit 2, very easy to find.

I tried the normal chicken grills here – the chicken was well-cooked with mild, normal flavors, it was completely a normal tasty one.It was served with kubbus, hummus, mayonnaise, vegetables, and french fries. The presentation of the food was neat and eye-catching, which I really liked. The restaurant has a large seating capacity, both indoors and outdoors, with some light background music that uplifts the mood. The ambience is peaceful, making it a nice spot to enjoy your meal. The service team was good – very polite and attentive. I would rate their customer service 4/5.

They also offer a wide variety of dishes for lunch, dinner, and even tea time, including snacks and different types of chai. However, do note that the place can get very crowded, especially during lunch and evening hours.

Note:One small downside is that they charge for extra mayonnaise, so if you’re a mayonnaise lover, either adjust with the given portion or be ready to pay a little extra/ignore the restaurant.

Overall, I wouldn’t call it a “must-try spot,” but if you are around Business Bay, it’s definitely worth giving a try. This is just my personal opinion, and experiences may vary from...
