Beautiful Beach Club with a Great Vibe — but Some Food Letdowns
This is definitely one of the most beautiful beach clubs in Dubai! We had a really good experience overall. We booked a cabana in advance and the full amount was redeemable — meaning you could order food and drinks equal to the price you paid, which felt like a great deal.
The staff were very respectful and kind. They laid out our towels when we arrived, and later when we asked for more, they brought them quickly. The cabana bed was soft and comfy, and the whole place had such a dreamy, Barbie-heaven kind of aesthetic. We went mid-week and still, all the cabanas were full!
The drinks we ordered were cold, refreshing, and very tasty. The food was okay — not bad, but not amazing. We had sushi (California rolls wrapped in mame nori instead of seaweed, which I personally didn’t like), a chicken sandwich (which was good), and tacos (not very flavorful). Prices were high, but since we had already paid for the cabana and it was redeemable, it didn’t feel expensive — almost like it was free.
A few negatives though: when we sat inside the restaurant to eat, there was a strong burnt oil or greasy food smell that was not pleasant. But the biggest disappointment was the fruit platter. For AED 85, we got a few slices of watermelon, melon, half a passion fruit, a few strawberries, and some blueberries — way overpriced, and worse, the quality was very poor. The melon tasted off, the blueberries were old, and the watermelon had a stale fridge flavor. Honestly, it made me feel sick. When we mentioned it, they apologized and brought us 3 scoops of ice cream — which unfortunately weren’t good either.
That said, despite the food issues, we truly enjoyed our time. The beach club vibe was amazing and relaxing, and the music volume was perfect — not too loud,...
Read moreMy friend and I visited The 305 at 9:30AM today and stayed for the entire day. The location and atmosphere are undeniably stunning, and I am genuinely not one to leave a poor review. However, the service today was so remarkably disappointing that I felt it couldn’t go unmentioned.
From the moment we arrived, the experience was lacking. We greeted the host with a friendly “Good morning,” only to be met with a sigh and a sidelong glance before being led to our sunbeds, without so much as a “Good morning” or “Welcome.” The host mentioned that service would be with us shortly to take our order—yet, 30 minutes later, no one had arrived, prompting us to go to the bar ourselves to request service.
When we politely asked for a pillow or an extra towel (with plenty of “please” and “thank yous,” mind you), the waiter rolled his eyes, sighed, and muttered, “Ok, I’ll see what I can do.” Throughout the day, we couldn’t help but notice that not a single member of staff approached our table. Instead, the waiters congregated at the bar, chatting amongst themselves, and it quickly became apparent that we were not the only ones facing this issue; guests around us seemed equally neglected.
My friend and I both work in hospitality, and we understand that things don’t always go perfectly. But at this point, we felt more like we were working than on holiday, almost as though we needed to “earn” the right to sit on their uncomfortable, expensive sunbeds and be “worthy” of service. Even a basic necessity like still water costs 30 dirham, yet eye rolls and sighs seemed to be included in the service.
Dubai is known as a leader in hospitality, but this beach club fell remarkably short. Again, the location is beautiful, but if you’re not in the mood to work for your own service, you might want to save your money and enjoy...
Read moreMy experience at the beach club was very bad.
Beach 305 should belong to the NH Collection hotel, which we paid together with the beach.
However, the way it works here is that when you arrive at the beach, when you enter, they say that there are no sunbeds available.
Since they don't have free sunbeds, they don't even want to give a beach towel.
We bought a deckchair 3 times. today we saw that they were free, but the boys at the entrance claimed that they were not free and refused to give us even a towel.
Problem 2: We are on a lounger where we have a cube with a QR code for ordering. We still pay the bill at the end when we leave, we spend a lot of money here because we always order something. But today there was a problem with the brush, the boy from the service chased me all the way to the toilet, because he was afraid that I wouldn't pay the bill. During the tpm, however, he saw that I had all my things, including my wallet, lying around and that I was not going anywhere except to go to the toilet. I was scared of him and it bothered me.
This club is only looking to extract money from tourists. It would be better if they could come more often to ask if the visitors want something to drink or eat - that way they would certainly earn more.
I have never been to a worse club with worse staff. I do not recommend We love luxury and seriously places...
