Read moreFirstly, as a loyal Starbucks patron, I frequently visit their Nakheel branch due to its exceptional service, especially since it's conveniently close to my workplace. However, my recent experience at the Al Ghurair branch was disappointing. From food quality to customer service, it was a disappointment. I ordered a venti strawberry acai with an extra pump of strawberry puree, initially I was dismayed to find the drink lacking in quantity (as you can see in the picture, this is exactly how I received it). Upon querying this with the manager, I was informed that it was because of the less ice I requested, which I HAVEN’T made, since it was not my intention to make an argument I just shrugged it off. But lo and behold, the drink itself was TASTELESS, so I went back to the counter to address the issue with the barista. Unfortunately, the response I received was unhelpful and she even displayed an indifferent attitude. Rather than receiving an apology and appropriate resolution, I encountered defensiveness from both the manager and the staff member and despite expressing my dissatisfaction, the manager's response was unsatisfactory as if it was my fault that my drink was tasteless! I hope crew got retrained and have some refreshers on the standards and SOP as well as the MOD to get some coaching on how to properly...
Read moreOLIVER, DIPENDRA and MAHFOOZ are the barista, who always makes my day great when visiting Starbucks - Al Ghurair Store. Almost everyday, I come and visit the shop to get some coffee to start a great day ahead. I am living nearby so I can easily visit the shop anytime, as well.
Every morning DIVENDRA or DIPENDRA (not sure about the correct spelling of the name) is always there to give me, or sometime if I am with my friend, a warm welcome. He certainly knows my order and would even remind me if I forget something in my usual order. Additionally, what I really do like about him is that, he cares about my puppy. I often order extra whipped cream for my furbaby.
The person who always makes my coffee EXTREMELY AMAZING, is OLIVER. I still remember the time he offered / suggested extra coffee shot, as I am always feeling something is missing in my drink. Then it becomes a habit to put an extra shot for my hot or Iced coffee. Honestly, he always makes sure that my coffee will have the best taste.
Lastly, MAHFOOZ, is very nice and friendly. Despite of having a lot of works to do and the store is busy, you can see him work passionately.
With the amazing service and warm welcome of these people, a bad day will always turns out to be a great day. Great job, Team...
