Kanpai,a japanese restaurant and lounge located inside souk al bahar is the ultimate place to enjoy traditional japanese cuisine.Its a perfect place to visit for a relaxed lunch or dinner.If you are hanging out at night,you can enjoy their lively lounge along with their scrumptious japanese spread.

We were at Kanpai last week for dinner and had a fabulous time.While we were scrolling through the menu,Mr Kim served us some of their signature Mocktails.We thoroughly enjoyed our drinks.We were then served with their signature starters.We tried Crab Stick Salad,Prawn Spring Roll,Prawn Tempura and Wasabi Prawn.Crab stick salad was super fresh and crunchy.Wasabi Prawn was the star among the starters.I recommend their Prawn spring roll and Prawn Tempura as well.I loved their crab stick salad and wasabi prawn the most.

For mains we had Maki Roll Platter,Black Cod (Oven baked miso black cod with yuzu miso sauce) and Shoyu Salmon (Grilled soy marinated salmon served with green pea puree baby potato,sakura mix and bbq sauce).Maki rolls were amazing.We finished the entire platter in no time.Black cod was absolutely delicious.It was literally melting in my mouth.Shoyu Salmon was also nice.For Desserts we had Green Tea Tiramisu and Mochi.Green Tea Tiramisu was rich and creamy.Enjoyed their chocolate & green tea mochi as well.
