Amazing experience. Our server Mr. Bean was amazing. (Not really Mr Bean but a look alike) the food was very flavorful. The views are superb. Too bad the fountain was closed. We enjoyed the show at the Burj made up for it. Highly recommendI recently dined at this remarkable restaurant, and it was an experience to cherish. The food was outstanding, bursting with rich flavours and beautifully presented. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff ensuring every detail was perfect. What truly elevated the dining experience was the stunning view of the Burj Khalifa and the mesmerising fountain, adding a magical touch to the evening. A perfect spot for anyone looking to enjoy exquisite cuisine with an unforgettable backdrop. Cheers 🍻Maison De Curry, nestled in Souk Al Bahar, Dubai, offers a global twist on classic curries. Read moreBiggest disappointment was the service. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer and it wasn’t fresh. When we received it, it did not match the picture from the menu. The calamari came out as breaded rings that had been fried quite hard. We discovered that some of the pieces were just fried bread and no calamari. I suspect it came from a bag and had been frozen. We sent it back and instead of acknowledging that the quality was poor, the water suggested a different appetizer, shrimp that ended up just being the okay and we were still charged for it. They felt it was acceptable to just replace the calamari. No apologies. Our curries were much better. After we finished our meals a newer staff member came by asking for a google review. We told him we’d rather verbally share and told him about our dissatisfaction with the way the calamari issue had been handled. Next thing we knew the manager came over and apologized finally. They tried to rectify by giving us a dessert to share. We told them we didn’t want dessert but they brought something out instead and never asked what dessert we wanted they picked it. Turned out to be something we couldn’t eat anyway and they were disappointed because we didn’t eat it. Seating on the terrace was nice and the view of the water and lots got show was incredible. I would definitely stay away from the crappy calamari and recommend the curry. They have a lot of work to do around customer service. They should ask how to rectify a problem rather than assume they know. Also a genuine recognition of a problem and apology goes a long way. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant in the...
Read moreI made a reservation a week in advance and called on the day to ask if I could sit by the river to view the fountain. The service staff replied "certainly". However, when I arrived, I was only given a seat at the innermost row, and I had to sit two rows away to see the fountain. I didn't want to make things difficult for the service staff, so I just said, "If any guests leave, please help me move to the first row of seats." The service staff said, "No problem, let me check."However, four groups of guests left. Every time someone left, I asked if I could switch to their seat, but they always replied, "There are reservations later." If that was the case, why couldn't they just say from the beginning, "Today's reservations are full, you can't change seats." Every time they told me that they would help me confirm whether I could change seats, but it turned out that they were lying. Finally, after waiting for an hour and a half, I decided to change restaurants and asked the service staff to settle the bill. At this time, another group of guests left, so I asked, "Can I switch to their seat? If so, I can order some more wine and stay for consumption." The reply was, "There are reservations for the table, too." Then he immediately asked me if I was willing to give him a 15% tip. My entire evening experience was terrible. Although the person who settled the bill might not have known the whole process, it was the first time in my life that I refused to tip the hard-working service staff. This restaurant ruined my Friday...
