We had our dinner last Feb28, 2023. As always our overall review for the food is excellent. Most specially your selections of sushi. We always come back for the salmon tartaren. And will definitely come back for the food. But what I want to highlight is the attitude of the manager named Sheik Meeran (don't know if the spelling is correct) Originally we are booked for 8 people and will going to use entertainer. One of our friend will eat there as well and he will use his EK platinum discount. But then when he found out that we were also eating there so he wanted to join us. Then we spoke to the manager when we arrive and explained about it. We told him if he can still use the discount since instead of occupying 1 table he will join us. He refused and told us that its not possible. But then we tried to at least give him an option if he can occupy a table near us but instead he gave us a table far from us. And even told us that he is not allowed to be seated near the view. But why? This is unacceptable. He will still pay for his food. Then he told us if he will occupy one table then he is not allowed to seat with us and needs to pay in full. So he wants him to eat alone even if he will pay for that table. We told them that since he will occupy that table, they are not allowed to give it to others and it's prerogative of a customer to seats with us as well. But he did not listen but instead he still insisted for their so called policy. And even came up to a point of saying there will be no revenue for them if he allow it. How come? again, we not asking to eat for free. It's just a separate discount that we want to avail for that 1 person. We find him unreasonable and don't even want to listen to us as he kept on interrupting that took us with a long conversation . It's our first time to encounter such attitude of a manager. Good thing we still enjoyed our food but very disappointed on what happen. I suggest if they can be considerate at least next time as our friend came all the way from Abudhabi just to eat in your restaurant and this is what he experience. Looking forward for the higher management to look into...

We had the pleasure of visiting Toshi’s for their themed Sushi & Sashimi Night, which truly exceeded our expectations. This restaurant is a paradise for sushi lovers, offering over 30 varieties of fresh, expertly crafted sushi and sashimi by their talented chefs. The concept is unique, combining an all-you-can-eat buffet, a la carte options, family-style sharing sets, and live cooking stations, providing a comprehensive and engaging dining experience. The contemporary decor creates an inviting atmosphere while maintaining the vibrant flavors of Pan-Asian cuisine that attract both residents and tourists alike.

Beyond the sushi night, Toshi offers a range of themed evenings including Korean BBQ & Ramen, Thai & Wok nights with Mama Nata, and more, making it a versatile dining destination. Some of our favorites from the sushi selection included the Ebi Tempura Maki, California Maki, Salmon Maki, Aburi Rainbow Maki, Spicy Salmon Maki, Spicy Tuna Maki, and the Rainbow Crab Maki. The sashimi options like Seabass, Cuttlefish, and Octopus were fresh and delicious.

The buffet section complemented the sushi perfectly, featuring soups such as Miso and seafood wanton, along with starters like beef teriyaki and shrimp tempura. The salads were vibrant and aligned with the sushi theme, offering options like Thai beef salad, Enoki mushroom salad, spicy tuna salad, and kimchi. There were also a variety of hot dishes including stir-fried seafood, beef broccoli, Chinese chicken with eggplant, and Mee Goreng, catering to diverse tastes.

Dessert offerings were equally impressive, with mini Almond Financiers, Pineapple Upside-Down Cake, vanilla milk cake, crème brûlée, Mohalabia, raspberry choux, chocolate mousse with hazelnuts, and more. The warm chocolate fountain served sliced fruits and cakes, adding a delightful end to the meal. Overall, Toshi’s themed nights deliver a rich, flavorful experience in a stylish setting. The combination of diverse dishes, fresh ingredients, and welcoming ambiance makes it a must-visit for lovers of Pan-Asian cuisine. We look forward to returning and exploring more of their themed nights and...

Toshi - A Taste of Perfection

Toshi is a hidden gem that brings the best of Asian cuisine to life with style and finesse. From the moment you step through the door, you're enveloped in an ambiance that strikes the perfect balance between modern elegance and cozy warmth. The lighting is soft, the décor is understated yet chic, and the atmosphere makes it clear: this is a place to unwind, savor, and indulge.

The food at Toshi is nothing short of spectacular. Every dish is an exploration of bold flavors and delicate techniques, making for an unforgettable culinary experience. Whether you’re in the mood for sushi, dim sum, or something a bit more adventurous, the menu offers a wide range of options, each expertly crafted with the freshest ingredients.

The service deserves its own applause. Attentive yet unintrusive, the staff is knowledgeable about the menu and eager to offer suggestions, creating a seamless and enjoyable dining experience.

Now, let’s talk about the dessert. The pistachio dessert at Toshi is worth the visit alone. Rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced, it’s the kind of dish that stays with you long after the last bite. The texture is impeccable, with just the right amount of sweetness and a hint of nuttiness that makes it the ultimate treat to end your meal on a high note.

In short, Toshi offers more than just a meal—it offers an experience. Whether you're a food connoisseur or just someone looking for a fantastic dining night out, Toshi checks all the boxes. It’s a place where delicious food, impeccable service, and a serene ambiance come together to create something...

Asian buffet restaurant where every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday is sushi and sashimi night. This includes various maki, hosomaki, Nigiri sushi as well as different sashimi (including salmon, tuna, a white fish, squid and octopus). In the cooked food section, there's various hot foods that may include a couple of soups, stir fried foods, a curry, noodles, dim sum, and tempura. Pre-covid, there used to be a live cooking teppanyaki section where you choose your own meat, seafood and veggies that would then be brought out to your table. Unfortunately, now the live cooking wasn't available and only pre-cooked teppanyaki beef available. Lastly the dessert buffet has been replaced with dessert platters brought to your table with far less choice than pre-covid. For the sushi and sashimi night, I would say that this is the highlight post covid measures. The cooked food selection is pretty average and the dessert and fruit doesn't live up to their previous dessert buffet. There's both a soft drink and 3-hour alcohol package (with sparkling wine) available. Staff were attentive and waitstaff friendly. Parking is available through valet and there's even some bays out the front. Otherwise, there's taxis readily available given it's in a hotel, and a metro station that's walkable when it's not too hot.
