Friday 6pm matchday.
This place has the potential to be excellent with a great setting, location and atmosphere, however it was very poor for food and service. No steaks at all. Not sure if they ever had them or if they simply ran out. Very poor on either front for an early service at the weekend. They want you to order and pay off an app but the app wonāt allow you to deduct the 20% Bath Rugby membership discount, so then you have to go to the bar to order which sort of defeats the object. Service at the bar is very slow Young waiting staff rushed off their feet but not being particularly attentive. Very difficult to get their attention if you need something. The food we did manage to order was nearly an hour getting to the table. This wasnāt just us, but the two tables next to us. Food that did arrive was pretty average Waiting times at the bar just for drinks also very long.
Bearing in mind you have to book to realistically get a table itās almost like it came as a surprise to them that theyād be busy on a Friday evening/Matchday.
I think this place has a management issue. Itās understaffed and they really need to think about getting rid the app and revert to using the waiting staff to take orders - the service really suffers, it minimises the opportunity for waiting staff to earn proper tips and itās no faster than going to the bar particularly if you want your Bath...

Ludo Sports Bar in Bath Town Centre is a fantastic spot for both sports enthusiasts and casual visitors alike! The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, making it the perfect place to watch your favorite games. The large screens are strategically placed so that you never miss a moment of the action, no matter where you're seated.
The staff are friendly and attentive, ensuring that you always have a fresh drink or delicious snack to enjoy. Speaking of the food, the menu offers a great variety of options that cater to all tastes, from classic pub grub to more sophisticated dishes. The drinks menu is equally impressive, with a wide selection of beers, cocktails, and spirits.
What really sets Ludo apart is its sense of community. Whether you're a regular or a first-time visitor, you're made to feel right at home. It's a great place to meet friends, make new ones, and share in the excitement of the latest sporting events. I highly recommend Ludo Sports Bar for anyone looking to enjoy a lively, fun-filled...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe booked a table to have drinks with friends before catching a train. On arrival, they had lost our booking and hadnāt reserved a table, so asked if we wanted the huge banquet table for 20+ people, there were 5 of us. We asked and got given a smaller table. We ordered a round and some food on the app, and I went to the bar to order shots and food. One barman was in conversation with a customer when I got there and kept chatting, I waited and two other men came up to the bar after me. A red-headed barmaid came over to the men and asked who was first, totally ignoring me. I said I had been there longer, which she ignored but asked what I wanted whilst pouring their drinks. She poured 4 shots, but tried to pour way under the measures, and was so disgruntled when I asked her to fill the 25ml glasses. She then tipped herself on my payment, which I didnāt realise until I got back to the table as she didnāt offer me a receipt. I will not...
