Mokoko Bakery — Restaurant in Bath

Great place for a coffee ofcourse, and a beautiful croissant to go with it. It was lovely to see them all being made in the bakery behind, very cool feature! However my only issue with this place was the girl with darkish reddish hair and glasses without a smile behind the till. I found her to be very miserable and rude and not interested in her job at all. I asked about nuts in the chocolate croissant as some people use Nutella, I didn't get a clear answer from her, just a 'i don't think so' well that's not good enough. This girl in particular needs retraining in customer service and maybe someone can show her how to smile. Great food across the whole menu if it’s available. Location on the lower Bristol Road isn’t great as it’s very noisy in the front two rooms and cramped in the area around the counter. Outside is nice though if the weather is fine. Staff aren’t very welcoming and helpful though. A few times we’ve visited between 2-3 o’clock and either the sandwiches are either packed away early or they’ve sold out. You then ask the question if one can be made or what is available and they’ve no enthusiasm about selling you something and would rather stand around and chat to each other for the remainder of the day.
