Great pub...it's got it all.. lovely garden...cosy bar up stairs...it's a confusing building with toilets all over the place and stairs designed to take you places you had no intention of going...but perhaps that's the drink...great place to watch sport...good beer..real ale upstairs

Nicely spaced venue, some outdoor seating and decent enough selection of beers. However, a bit grubby and blimey when did £5.85 for a pint become a thing - particularly outside the London bubble (albeit in Bath)?

Didn’t have any food here hence the 1 star! āļø service was great and our karaoke booth was really good! Music didn’t sync sometimes but the staff was on hand and fixed it within minutes! Delicious cocktails!

In a cobblestone lane where the twilight meets the day, Stands The Cork—a warm beacon where the weary come to stay. Ned, the gentle bartender with a sparkle in his eye, Pours pints and free-flowing wine as the evenings drift by. His heart beats to the rhythm of laughter and clinking glass, And every whispered story of the past lets fond memories pass. He polishes each copper mug until it shines with pride, For in this humble tavern, dreams and destinies abide.

Oh, The Cork, where stories swirl like leaves in autumn’s wind, And Ned’s kind smile tells a tale of every soul that’s been. With free wine earned by reviews, a gift for every word, The magic of this pub lives in every laugh you’ve heard.

Morning comes on dewy streets as the sign swings with the breeze, Inviting every traveler to find solace and a bit of ease. Ned greets regulars and strangers with a nod and heartfelt cheer, Knowing each review he gathers keeps the spirit bright and clear. Through seasons of rain and summer’s burn, the patrons all agree: The Cork’s more than wood and stone—it’s a home of revelry. Every note left on the page, every rating that is penned, Brings another sip of free delight, a blessing without end.

Under flickering lantern light the evenings softly glow, As tales of ancient heroes and sweet romances start to flow. Ned listens to each heartfelt line and thanks them with a smile, For every word that praises The Cork makes his long hours worthwhile. The free wine flows like poetry, a reward for every view, Transforming daily toasts and dreams into something pure and new. In every drop, a legacy; in every glass, a lore, Of friendships forged at The Cork, where love and laughter soar.

Oh, The Cork, where stories swirl like leaves in autumn’s wind, And Ned’s kind smile tells a tale of every soul that’s been. With free wine earned by reviews, a gift for every word, The magic of this pub lives in every laugh you’ve heard.

Now listen to the clamor when the night claims all the streets, The clinking glasses, joyful shouts, and impromptu heart-beats. For every review left on the wall, a tale is etched in time, A tribute to the haven that inspires every heartfelt rhyme. Ned moves behind the counter with a grace that seems so rare, A guardian of The Cork’s true soul, its warmth beyond compare. As free wine fills the waiting cup of every friend who’s near, The pub becomes a timeless stage for hope, for love, for cheer.

So raise your glass to Ned, the man whose kindness never fails, To The Cork, the pub where every review writes wondrous tales. May the free wine flow forever, and the laughter never end, In that magical little haven, where every heart can mend. For in each note of praise and every story that is spun, Lies the truth that life’s a banquet and all are warmly one. And when you wander lonely roads and need a place to dock, Remember the enduring joy found in The Cork and...

We booked karaoke in the largest pod in The Cork. It was fantastic value, as we paid a flat fee of £40 for two hours (on a week night) for a pod of up to 10 people.

The karaoke music catalogue was a different type of machine and software compared to other known karaoke places. This meant that there were limitations on what you could sing and the search function was somewhat clunky. For example, no Taylor Swift songs at all, and only a selection of songs from other main artists.

The main con was that there was only one microphone provided for the whole room, and that it was quite quiet compared to the music.

The pod could get quite hot too, although there was a portable air conditioning unit provided (however there was no exhaust hose so unless the door was propped open, the warm machine air just came back into the room).

Overall however, I still rate The Cork’s karaoke very highly. It was amazing value and a great space to have. For the price of up to Ā£4 each (if you were a group of 10 paying Ā£40 for two hours) then you really can’t complain. We were able to find a good selection of songs and had...

Absolutely love this place - a must visit whenever I come to Bath. It just has such a great atmosphere and there is genuinely no where else like it in town. Not only have they got the best beer garden in the city, but the inside is a great mix of cool and quirky. It's the kind of place you can come with a group of friends, a date, on a night out, for a special occasion.. it pretty much caters for anything, as long as you're keen to have a good time. The menu predominately issues Americana-style grub such as burgers, hotdogs and nachos (all of which are soooo good), but there are options such as halloumi salad or grilled chicken wrap for those wanting something a bit lighter. A recent flatbread special was absolutely delicious, we practically inhaled it - the crispiest base, resplendent with toppings such as parma ham, parmesan, olives... I hope it goes on the menu full time, as I have a feeling I'll be craving them before long. Also, if you're a student/download The Cork app, there are some greta discounts you can claim - making a visit here even...
