When I saw the sign I knew I wanted to try The Bath Stable. Upon arrival the host was friendly and seated us promptly. We ordered a cider flight and a beer. This took about 20 minutes to arrive. While we were waiting for the drinks to arrive our waitress Chloe took our order for two pizzas. Eventually our drinks arrived and we sat and enjoyed them while we waited for our food. We continued to wait and a large table of 6 arrived after we ordered. They then got their drinks and their food. We were still waiting on our food. This was an hour into our service. So we flagged down one of the other waitresses and asked. She checked and returned saying it would be a couple minutes longer. Chloe then came over and looked embarrassed and apologized for the wait. 15 minutes after this our pizza arrived. Which tells me they forgot to put our order in.... The pizza was good but Chloe avoided our table the rest of the time we were there and only gave us our check when we flagged her down and asked. This was some of the worst service I have had in all of Europe. In the end it was a big disappointment.

Been meaning to try this place for a while but they’re so many other great places to eat in Bath, that we only just got to this. We each had one of the pies...beef for me and chicken for my wife. The pastry was a good texture but the filling a little dry on the beef pie (see the photo...not a lot of gravy here) but the chicken was better. The potato wedges were delicious...I saw a review on here complaining about only getting 4 “chips”, which you can ignore, as these are clearly not chips...this is half a large potato cut into 4 wedges. The restaurant was not busy, although we were there fairly early but the decor is well thought through, as you expect for a successful company. The service could maybe have been a little more attentive, especially given that the restaurant wasn’t all that busy, but I’m probably splitting hairs here. Overall, it didn’t blow me away but was certainly good enough to bring me back to try the pizza at some point.

We went here on our recent trip to Bath! To be honest food was decent - we ordered the blazing saddle pizza and chicken nachos however let down by the slow service! After we placed our order we waited at least 30min for our drink- told the staff that if they can check on the drink order and they said there was a backlog of lot of orders! The restaurant was not full and we had to go back to the bar to check on the drink order again in 15min and the staff then handed over the drink - apologised oh it was some mistake! Didn’t really understand what happened! The lady who served us was friendly and cleaned the table quickly that we wanted to sit at! Feedback on communication - if at all there is a backlog just let the customers know or acknowledge rather than having us to trying to figure out what’s going on! Indoor ans outdoor seating available! Crust on the pizza was quite nice! A bit stingy on the pork topping for £16!

Very disappointing experience here. When we walked in, there was a whole section of tables that were dirty to choose from. We ordered on one table and then ended up sitting on the benches. Place was not that busy as it was mid afternoon so this should have been clean. When the pizza came it looked like the chef forgot to put jalapenos on and then chucked them on AFTER the pizza had been cooked. We had a train to catch so didn't want to cause a fuss. We did see staff discussing our pizza before it came to our table and we wondered what the problem was. If they knew it beforehand then it should never have come on our table. Tots were sad looking and soggy and needed to be crispier. Im all for supporting local businesses but to receive service like this is pretty poor, no acknowledgement when leaving- staff seemed disinterested.

Friendly staff, perfect size pizza's with big flavour and great ciders! Pizzas were a manageable size! Loads of great vegetarian/vegan options! The salmon pizza was very tasty and the ham and pineapple pizza had a lot of thick ham and pineapple on. We ordered the cider tasting board which was amazing. You cannot choose which ciders as it is a set menu but we loved the last 3 of 5 ciders. The tasting board is around £10 which isn't bad for the amount of locally produced cider you get! A mix of carbonated and flat (I prefer flat!). Really nice seating spaced out and you get a pizza cutter to slice your own pizza!

Ate here in July for Lunch on a Tuesday. To be fair with the staff as soon as we walked in they informed us they were under staffed and that only selected dishes from the menu will be being served. We decided to still eat here and sat outside. As expected, because of the short staff service was slow. The pizzas we had were standard and nothing special but what spoilt it for us was finding a dead fly in our side salad! Pictures attached! Our overall impression was dirty and unclean (a quick sweep outside prior to setting up the tables would have been great!) I doubt we will return for a second visit!
