Oliver, the manager is the most unprofessional person working for what i would consider the poorest customer-orientated brand anyone could ever encounter and i ask anyone considering pizza from this brand, and especially this store to shop elsewhere - Oliver and his team discriminated against ill people, and if you can’t physically leave your home to collect the pizza from the street pavement, they Oliver’s team won’t deliver - it’s in the terms of business, which everyone reads prior to buying pizza, and i’m the silly person who didn’t do this!
4 weeks ago, i ordered pizza online, spent £35.62. i completed the necessary parts of the order form, and as i had an illness that mean i couldn’t leave the flag, asked for doorstep delivery to my apartment as i was poorly, sick and ill. The order was accepted, and i paid. 40 mins later a call comes through explaining door step delivery is impossible. i explained i was ill and couldn’t leave the flat, physically i was too ill, but i was advised doorstep delivery wasn’t allowed. at an impasse, and not physically being able to walk the 150 metres to the pavement, there was no way of getting my food so the driver kindly offered a refund and i accepted.
4 weeks later, after emails to the CEO, carole deller in complaints, complaints to oliver the store manager and me even joining twitter, instagram and facebook solely to get a refund, they have not paid the refund i was offered, and had accepted.
i complained to the store first of all, Oliver immediately and aggressively said a refund was impossible, and made it clear - my illness was no excuse, and because i had paid, and not read the full terms of conditions prior to ordering, he wouldn’t be refunding me.
i then complained through the formal process. weeks of chasing and investigators, the best i was offered was a down grade to a refund, credit to spend in that store. i don’t want credit, i want the money i was offered and had accepted - i won’t ship dominos ever again... i mean dominos discriminates against ill people, and demeans and bullies it’s customers when they are ill. i won’t spend a penny with this brand ever, so i don’t want credit, i was offered a refund and i want my cash
The CEO in the complaints section on the website has his email addrsss, inviting engagement so i emailed.
Nothing.
i emailed again. NOTHING.
i emailed a third time, and yet again, NOTHING.
The CEO puts his email address on the website as a gimmick, not because he cares about hearing true insight from his customers, and certainly not because he cares about ensuring his customers - the able bodied or the ill get a great service because if he did, he would have replied?
i joined twitter 3 weeks ago, i thought i’d give social media a go. i’ve tweeted, retweeted and messaged on here, but still no sight of the refund i was offered.
today, i joined instagram and also facebook (please find me, and talk to me if you want. i’m a normal person) solely to put this discriminatory business in the sights of anyone who will look a little closer, so that they can judge if they want to use a brand that treats ill people as cash cows that it can make money off without delivering the food, or service it says.
what do i want, £35.62 refunded. as promised.
people, think about what you are doing when you buy from this brand. able bodied people, or those who have illnesses, we are all people, and a brand that steals from those who have illnesses, and hides behind terms and conditions when it wants to justify stealing from customers and not delivering food, service or satisfaction is wrong.
i will keep on with my social media exploits until i get a refund, but please please everyone, shop...
Read moreI ordered a large pizza, half and half, and collected it. Spent £13.99. When I got home, found my pizza nearly has no toppings, just the base, so disappointed. I have been visiting this shop for really long time, wouldn't visit again, definitely not going to spend £13.99 for no toppings pizza. After that experiences, I have tried to order again with them, but... Do not order from this dominos!!!! The staff barely put any toppings on the pizza. Second time had the pizzas from this store, which have not enough toppings, especially I have told staff about my bad experiences last time. TRY TO ORDER FROM DIFFERENT DOMINO! DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE AT ALL!!! Also, I ordered in the store and have been told will be ready after 15 minutes and I was waiting outside, and after 15 minutes the staff just started to make my pizzas. I have to waiting for another 10 mins. By the way, they are not busy at all, I ordered my pizzas on Thursday around 14:30, very bad...
Read moreTry to make an order by phone. Staff can not even take the order properly. They ask for credit card photo. Then we want to pay for the order by phone giving my credit card details. But, they say that for phone orders they want photo copy of the credit card. (It seem to be a crazy request how can one give the credit photo copy - strange policy) I have decided to make online order and placed order. They delivered the order but gave me chicken kickers instead of Chik'n'mix box. When asked why they have sent wrong order the staff says that they are running out of stock so they gave us chicken kickers without even asking for our consent and the price difference is nearly £3.50. When we called the shop the staff ask us to compromise and he said he is going to send chicken wings as compensation but they never arrived.
Very...
