Tens of experiences with this branch in the previous year, the only branch in Birmingham City Centre. Overall just like other KFCs in the UK, not satisfying and unable to compete with McDonald's.
Fine with the prices, although they are nearly the same everywhere in this country. The KFC food across the UK is relatively salty and greasy comparing to that in other countries, not just one branch. And the food quality is not very consistent. Original recipe chicken, sometimes crispy other times soggy. Hot wings, sometimes very spicy other times very salty. Overall acceptable, well this is KFC anyway mate. The staff attitudes are average and never enthusiastic. The service speed is just too terrible to call itself a fastfood restaurant. I always value the time efficiency, but for this branch I'm only satisfied when there are no more than 3 orders waiting including mine. More than 5 orders means too much for the staff and more than 10 orders confirms a mess. I mean McDonald's needs to deal with far more orders during peak hours, but their staff can make their orders move smoothly. I cannot imagine what will happen if there are more than 20 orders waiting at the same time for this branch, you might need to wait half an hour for your fastfood. And when you get your order, probably already cold. The staff are simply not well trained, that is the conclusion. Should be enough seats to dine in even in busy periods, not a problem for this. Relatively clean comparing to other KFC branches I have visited. The stamp system did not work with this branch when it was still available, not even 1 stamp received when ordering here. The same goes with the new arcade system.

When I giving order, I asked filet burger instead of zinger burger because of my kids. The cashier girl asked to manager and I request to do fillet burger instead of Zinger because zinger burger box meal canes with 1 zinger burger 2hot wings chips 1 side and 1 drink.Zinder burger is hot and hot wings are also hot, Although there is no problem for adults people, sometime tummy upset for the kids. My kids like hot wings that’s why I need fillets burger instead of hot zinger burger. Manager said ‘No’. I am in the fried chicken shop, not at jewellery shop. I buying chicken burger, neither diamond nor ruby. Disgusting manager with bed customer service. And burger , KFC standard burgers are made lettuce and mayo are each surface of the burger bun. I received my burgers are mid with mayo and lettuce on the base bun upper bun has nothing. That is not kfc standard burger. I am one of KFC staff. In our shop we never do like that. We can also do fillet box meal but with zinger burger. Zinger box meal but we do fillet burger if customer ask to fillet burger instead of zinger. There are same prices. I order drink fruit-shoot for my kids. But when I received my meals, a staff said there is no fruit-shoot then I ask blackcurrant drink and Pepsi but the drinks is different colours and staff ask manager again and she offered me to take just water. Read moreI am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I received at KFC today. My order number was 1070, placed around 5:16 PM. Before I could even order, I waited at the counter for five minutes. When I politely inquired if orders were taken there, a staff member responded with shocking rudeness. She snapped, 'Do you not know how to use a kiosk?' making me feel incredibly foolish.
I explained that the last time I used a kiosk, it didn't accept cash. Instead of assisting, she barked several things at me, refused to take my order, when i stuck up for myself. and warned, 'Don't get me mad!' I was appalled by her aggressive tone, especially since I had done nothing wrong. It felt as though she was taking out her frustrations on me, which is completely unacceptable. I've worked in fast food myself and never treated a customer with such disrespect.
Her behavior made me feel violated. Had I not really wanted KFC, I would have walked out immediately. When I asked her colleague for her name the orignal staff member intervened again, shouting, 'Ask me, innit? I'm here!' in a threatening manner. When I asked her name, she said it was 'Rebecca,' but something tells me that wasn't her real name, as she was the only one without a name tag. In the whole kfc branch.
