Absolutely Shocking!!! a week in advance I booked a table for 7 which changed to 8 as it was my friends birthday. I had driven over 2 hours from Leeds to dine here! My two friends arrived early at 4.50 to a quiet restaurant (4 tables) and was told to sit down (first table y the door) We had then arrived. We looked through the menu and I wrote a list of food to order. my friends then said, how come no one is asking us if we wanted drinks. 5 people got up to go to the bar to order drinks. We asked for 3 green teas to be told one pot is enough as it's a VERY BIG POT! my friend, birthday boy went back up to the bar to which the lady replied what do you want in a very rude tone All of us was sat at the table for a full 40 minutes with NO SERVICE!!!! There were 3 ladies at the bar doing absolutely nothing. By now i was seriously annoyed, that I shouted over for the drinks bill The waitress came over with a ipad and I said, we are not ordering we want the drinks bill. She presented us with the drinks bill of £26 with a service charge added on top Sorry mate, but what a cheek to slap on a service charge when you did nothing for us whatsoever

Wasted 40 minutes of my time and a near 2 and half hours driving down from Leeds....

We came here for my mother in laws 70th birthday, we were recommended by a friend. We booked a table several weeks prior, to only get there and find out there was no record, everyone just looked very confused. The atmosphere was very casual, no one to greet you and tables were incredibly messy. Some people in uniform, some not, was very difficult to distinguish who worked there. We were sat down and thrown some menus, no one explained how we ordered. Once we ordered they only brought half the drinks and the food came in drips and drabs, I assumed it just came out as it was made. But no one explained that and one of our party waited over an hour to get their food. The toilets were very dirty and next to them were people just smoking out of a fire exit. Went here for lunch with my partner and the restaurant was quiet and preparing for dinner service. It was really lovely.

The food was amazing, full of flavour, had a great texture, and was made with care. I could taste all the little ingredients, coconut and more, in the freshly made Vietnamese pancakes. The Pho was very nice as well with a delicious soup base.

The lady who served us was really kind and took a lot of care of us. I hadn’t had one of the dishes we ordered before and so she explained it and gave some tips.

This feels like a nice family restaurant and is really a gem in Birmingham. Definitely go out of your way to try this restaurant, there’s plenty space for larger groups too. The feel of the restaurant fits all types of occasions, whether that be totally casual or more...
