Really nice vibes but really really bad food (including after effects) 😞

The atmosphere is really nice and I enjoyed having a drink. Unfortunately the food was really poor quality and I was super disappointed given previous reviews. There were approx 5 customers present including us and the mains took over 45-50 minutes to be served. Naan bread- really hard and definitely not freshly cooked. Felt like something from a supermarket that has been heated up. Channa bhature- the channa were decent but the bhature smelt like raw dough! Definitely undercooked and ruined the dish. Halloumi burger- this was cold by the time it was served and tasted terrible. I had to abandon it after 2 bites. Papri chaat and chilli paneer- just about average but I can make these to a much higher quality at home. Masala chips- we actually liked these!

Overall I this is probably the worst Indian food I've had in brum (no exaggeration unfortunately), however it seems like a really nice place for a drink with friends (maybe a small snack at the most).

We visited early on a Wednesday evening and it wasn't very busy although I suspect it would have filled up later for quiz night 🎉. Staff were really friendly 😊. The aloo tikki chaat 🥔 and papri chaat 🥙 are both amazing so make sure you get those 👌. Very different dishes but both bursting with flavor and the flavor combinations worked really well. We also had the Bangkok Beach burger 🍔 and the manchurian curry bowl 🍲. The burger patty was delicious but a bit cold. The ingredients appeared fresh 🥬🍅 but could have done with less sauce so you can appreciate the flavors of the burger and maybe warming the buns through too! The manchurian was rich in flavor, and again the portion size meant we struggled to finish it 🍽️. The paratha was tasty and the fries with the burger was a generous portion 💪. All of the food comes out at the same time, so it might be worth requesting to stagger the dishes for more enjoyment. Really tasty food that just needs a few tweaks but would very happily eat...
