This is the best wedding venue in Bristol! Beautiful views, an amazing building, quirky interior, spectacular food and by far the best staff & service I have ever come across. The whole Team went above & beyond on our special day. A year later we still hear what a fantastic time our guests had and how it's the most beautiful venue with such incredible food. Joao from the Mud Dock helped us throughout the whole process from booking our reception, to arranging the food tasting, organizing & setting up our decorations & was even there on the day to ensure every thing ran smoothly. Joao even saved me some of my wedding cake & gave it to me the next day, as I didn't get a chance to have a slice on the day. The Team went the extra mile decorating the chalkboard they had on the wall, to putting our seating plan on a easel and even putting up a marquee on the terrace due to the rain! So much thought & care was put into our special day, I couldn't have done it better myself (And I'm a perfectionist). The food was amazing from the tasting, to the canapes and the meal on the day. We still hear how much people enjoyed the food & how full they were but wanted to visit again. They accommodated, remembered and dealt with a lot of Gluten free, Vegans, Vegetarians & Kids without breaking a sweat. It was everything we could have hoped for & more. We can not recommend the Mud Dock or it staff highly enough & we just wanted to take this chance to say a massive thank you! Big love, The Gordon's

So good we went twice for brunch while in Bristol for a long weekend. We arrived on both days, a Sunday & Monday, for the time they opened. On Sunday there was a queue! We didn’t book but on the Sunday we were told we only had a limited time as the table was booked for later. We were able to sit outside on the Sunday in the sunshine with the lovely views. Monday we sat inside which was just as nice and cosy! Service was good. Food was lovely. I asked for my eggs to be poached and they kindly agreed to do it. Pictures are from our Sunday visit. Monday’s bill: Latte - £3.25 Fresh Orange - £4.50 Big breakfast - £13.50 Ex poached egg - £1.25 Ex Avocado - £2.50 Eggs Benedict - £10.75 Total - £35.75 Service was not included. We walked here but there was a large car park adjacent which you’d probably need to pay for. You do have to walk up outdoor stairs to access the restaurant. If I visit Bristol again, I’ll be back!

We recently had our wedding reception at Mud Dock and it was wonderful! The team looked after everything perfectly and we could not recommend this venue more highly for weddings or any other type of event. Special thanks to Anna who is a fantastic events manager and coordinated everything seamlessly in the lead up and on the day. The team made the venue look beautiful and liaised with our suppliers on the day so we didn't have to worry about a thing. The chef accommodated different menu changes to make the whole event vegan for us and all our guests are still raving about the food! Our entire day unfolded exactly how we hoped it would and that is testament to the hard work, care and attention of the entire Mud Dock team. We are so grateful to everyone involved - thank you!

I really love this café. The interior is charming and cosy, while the balcony has a fantastic view of the river and harbourside. Good food and drinks, with local beers available, such as Moor and Bristol Beer Factory, as well as a German favourite of mine, Fransiskaner. The coffee is good too, with proper flavour and no bitter burnt flavour. All of this with an eclectic mix of interesting, atmosphere-boosting music makes for a lovely experience. I have noticed that service is not as quick as it used to be, although it's still friendly. Perhaps low on staff? I don't think it should stop you visiting, but it might be tricky if you're short on time and it is the reason I'm not giving 5 stars

I had a terrible flat white (weak, no microfoam) and a very disappointing breakfast (bacon was oven-cooked and way overdone, egg swimming in half-cracked black peppercorns, the sausage was tasty but dry, the mushrooms were basically cardboard and the beans were absolutely ruined by the frankly offensive overuse of herbs on bloody everything - also my little foil-wrapped butter was placed atop the beans meaning i had to get my hands dirty to open it. The sourdough toast was nice. I am sure this was a one-off bad experience though as the generally high quality of the ingredients would suggest such.

We had our wedding at Muddock on 18.05.24. The venue is perfect, absolutely gorgeous without decorations but the team were so fabulous at personalising it with our decorations. The food was incredible, everyone really enjoyed the mixed tapas-y option, and the staff were so friendly ensuring the evening ran smoothly! They even let me hang and smash a piñata instead of cutting a cake! Plus after the wedding the venue gave us a gift with the date, our names and the venue from the local pottery place next door which was so touching! Can't thank them enough. Perfect for a laid back wedding!
