I ordered from this restaurant via Deliveroo, all well and good okay prices, however, I experienced many issues. Firstly, the delivery fee is £5+, what is this about? YOYO deliver the food themselves, why is this so expensive. Whatever, I payed, was told the wait would be 40 mins, which was understandable, it was late. 40 minutes later, I received a call from the driver, but didn't notice this and when I did we tried to call back and immediately went downstairs, outside our building waiting. I called the restaurant confused, because the driver would not answer, and they proceeded to pass the phone around like musical chairs not giving me answers, telling me I had the wrong place? I called back, asked what was happening, they told me the food was on the way, okay great. I waited, then received a call saying that my food had already been delivered, however, it was just left outside the building, then before I could ask a question, I was hung up on. After not finding my food anywhere outside my building, I called back, to be told the driver was heading back to them with my food, because I failed to answer the one call I received, at this point I was frustrated and hungry, and the girl on the phone was practically laughing at me, she wouldn't send a new delivery of food until the driver got to them and they wouldn't know when this would be, she said she would call back when they find out whats happening. I had to call back, because they didn't care to call, then they said my food was now on the way. Finally. The driver was nice, but made a snarky comment. And by this point our food had nearly been out for delivery for an hour, so it was cold and soggy. VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE SERVICE AND RESPONSE FROM THE COMPANY. Read moreDoesn't deserve 1 star, awful customer service. A friend of mine ordered a takeaway costing £25 for 2 burgers. It ended up being about an hour and half (if not more) late. When she tried to make a complaint, she was told by "Chanel" that she wasn't able to make a complaint or even know the managers name. My friend then went all the way to the shop to find her number had been blocked by the shop. When she asked for the manager again she was told by the same lady that the staff couldn't give out any details or except complaints and then HUNG UP on her. My friend then went onto Facebook and wrote a complaint which was commented on by Chanel on her own account being rude. I then took it apon myself to ring them, I did loose my temper a slight bit as Chanel was rude to me (no surprise) and tried telling me she wouldn't tell me who her employer was as she didn't know who I was. I then got a call an hour later and it was the Manager Jeff. He then told my friend that he was sorry and he would send a driver to her home to give her all of her money back... 2 days later and she still hasn't received any money. The base bun was slightly damp and it all arrived luke warm, if not closer to cold. The salad inside as well wasn't great. Only the fries were fine, but a bit cold as well. The burger being the main component of the meal however, overall wouldn't draw me back to buy another. If I could perhaps forgive them for the burger (perhaps mine was just a bad example, or a beef or chicken burger would've been better), I could not forgive them for delivery time. I placed my order at 1:15am; initial predicted arrival in my confirmation email was 2:45! I live a 15-20minute WALK from YoYo burger. I called them up and said I would cancel my order if they couldn't get it to me sooner, so they said they would be able to get it to me in 20-30minutes. It arrived just after 2am, so an improvement but still a long time.
