After a long shopping session I was after somewhere I could relax have a drink and maybe grab a little to eat. I walked past the "Copper Blossom" had a glance at the menu and decided it looked like the perfect stop and walked down the steps to the entrance. I was immediately greeted and taken to a table. The decor is very Floral with chair covers and ivy above the bar to reflect this I found it very pleasant. The lady who greeted me gave me a perfect amount of time for me to look at the drinks menu before she came over and I ordered what's called a "Raspberry Cooler" which if my memory serves right includes Edinburgh Raspberry Gin, Cranberry juice and several other ingredients I can't quite remember. After a short wait where I could see my cocktail being prepared it was ready and was a perfect refreshment nice and fruity. I relaxed and checked the news on my phone while enjoying my cocktail and also glancing at the menu. When I finished the Raspberry Cooler I ordered another Cocktail a "Rum n’ Fashioned" which I was delighted to see was made with my favourite spiced rum Bacardi Oakheart and also ordered a burger the "Mac & Cheese Burger" My cocktail arrived shortly and my god it was not only my favourite cocktail I had in my few days of Edinburgh it maybe my favourite or all time the rum with the perfect amount of orange notes was a fantastic taste I savoured every last drop. My burger arrived not before long and looked and tasted great it was a little difficult to eat without any mess but isn't any decent burger worth eating. Overall I greatly enjoyed my little visit to the Copper Blossom and will not hesitate to return if I find myself in Edinburgh again even if it's just for a Rum n’ Fashioned.

A real mixed bag this one. Our experience was of terrible customer service and a poor attitude from a "manager". We had a birthday reservation for drinks and food confirmed via email booked months in advance. On arrival it was the manager who greeted us at the door. Looking to know if it was just drink or drinks and food, confirmed the latter. Whilst waiting for the rest of our group to arrive we waited around 20 mins with no service asked at the bar to order drinks was told would be table service, waited 20 more mins for an order to be taken, at this point we were told no more food orders could be taken till 3pm, it was a further 20 mins before the drinks arrived. 60 mins for drinks to be served. If this wasn't a booking for a birthday lunch we would have walked out. The food order was taken around hour 15 after arriving with food not coming out till near 2 hours after arriving When we discussed this with the manager a who it turns out was the one who had confirmed the order booking for food and drinks his attitude was the restaurant gets "hundreds of emails" way to make your custom feel valued. Inhindsight it now looks like an all day boozy brunch is offered and the bar was under staffed for the customer numbers. After our conversation with the manager they switched the out the server which improved our experience and the food when it arrived was decent. Based on this experience we won't be returning. P.S The peppercorn sauce though nice is a tiny tom thumb sized portion.

Lovely looking bar advertising itself as one of the Edinburgh Cocktail Week venues but turned out to be the most disappointing of the night!. Woefully understaffed, grudgingly offered a table (like he was doing us a favour) and then we were left for almost 15 minutes with no one even acknowledging the table until we stopped the waitress to ask if we could order, which then took another 5 minutes for someone to appear. Bartender picked 4 glasses from the mass of used glasses sitting on the bar (another sign of staff issues), gave them a quick wash and cocktails poured into them. Glasses were barely half full and still soaking wet when served. Cocktail was nice but needless to say we left without ordering the food or other drinks as we intended. Needs more staff to handle special event weeks such as these or simply don't take part in them. Staff politeness could do with some work as well as staff were very...
