I have been to around 80 countries and this is easily the worst Burger king I have had the (dis) pleasure of eating at, I went in on Saturday and it was horrible. The employee was making a very loud phone call draped in a slobbing manner over the front counter, he was a bigger guy, glasses, balding. We ordered and the food took a while to come, they gave us the cups for the machine. 75 percent of the options on the drinks were unavailable, there was no ice in either machine and the drinks were flat, as well as warm. After having a sip, I told the girl behind the counter to get us drinks from the machine they use back there for the drive thru, she obliged. They should have done this in the first place, I told them the machines round the front were not working. I am certain they knew this, in any case, if they didn't, three other customers ordered drinks and they didn't say anything to the customers. One of the customers got take away and I saw him out the front react when he took a sip of his drink, the drinks were flat, warm, no ice and disgusting. The staff there should have put a out of order label on the machines if they were not able to be fixed and served drinks from the machine behind the counter but apparently this is rocket science??? Anyway, I have noticed the responses to these reviews and all I can say is deeds, not words. People have been complaining for weeks/months and you're like, "oh yeah we will ensure this is fixed." Our experience on the weekend, as well as several others indicate that this is not actually occurring. Get down there and fix these issues, stop taking your customers for granted. If I saw these reviews before I went in, I wouldn't have visited your stores. Provide better training or get people that want to be there, paying a better wage should help with this conundrum. My burger also tasted weird like it had chili powder on it which is not part of the order, as per many other reviews, the delivery people definitely took precedence. Read moreUpon entry I was greeted at the door to the smell of cigarette smoke by the manager outside the restaurant. When I made my way through the front door a lady with a mask on and hand in my face advised me that its card payments only (despite the hand written sign on a big piece of paper), I said no problem thank you! She let me in, acting as some form of deterrent, then a sign was placed on 1 of the multiple self service points advising that they are all out of use. There wasn't a queue but I found myself waiting about 10 minutes and 3 orders that were handed to customers, to then eventually a lady behind the counter asked "what did I want?" During this two other staff members ( the lady at the front door and then the lady working on the drive through window) started yelling across the restaurant for the managers key to rework an order on her till, then none of them actually seemed to care, during the yelling contest it came to light the employee outside smoking had left her managers card on the till for their use but she needed to smoke and play music through her phone. When I got my food, not a single table was clean and neither was there any staff member cleaning the tables. When a customer tried sitting somewhere with no signage, the lady at the front door stormed over told her to move even though there wasn't signage on the table and then agreed to clean another table for her but all she did was brush the food residue onto the floor. Read moreWent to take my son out for a treat. Have a blue light card so asked prior if I still order at the till as it's changed since the refurbishment. Lady mentioned I needed to order at the self service and choose cash option so I could get the discount. Went to pay by card, but was unable to as the only card reader they had was for the drive thru and wouldn't reach over. My cards wireless no longer works so I have to enter my PIN. It took a lot of faff and eventually the manager came. He told me I needed to walk around the building to the kiosk window. I stated this was ridiculous. He said I had to do this. I then called my young son over and explained the situation, the manager then perhaps realises how stupid and dangerous it is to have a mum and small child walk through the drive thru, and changed his mind. He then tries to get another card reader turned on and ready to take my payment. No apologies or acknowledgement for how ridiculous or stupid the situation was from the manager. After a lot of frustration, waiting around and nonsense he then states he will "take the risk" and allow me to enter the kitchen to pay for my meal. Absolutely ridiculous and I have no idea what this man is doing running a Burger King with such poor people skills and customer service.
On the other hand, the young girls did their best and were polite and one did actually apologise.
