KFC Coventry - Cross Cheaping — Restaurant in Coventry

This KFC in Coventry is absolutely revolting and should be ashamed to call itself a restaurant. The second I walked in, I was hit with a stale, greasy stench that made me feel sick. The floor was wet and muddy, sticky in some places and slippery in others, and it looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned all day. Tables were piled with leftover food and rubbish, and even when customers left, staff took forever to wipe anything down—when they bothered at all. The walls were greasy and grimy, making the whole place feel dirty and unhygienic.

When my order finally came, it somehow managed to be worse. My drink and food both had strands of hair in them, which is beyond disgusting. The walls were sticky and looked like they weren’t cleaned in months. To make it even worse, there were flies and mosquitoes buzzing around everywhere, landing on food, trays, and even people. It honestly felt like eating in a trash can.

The customer service was just as bad as the hygiene. The staff were rude, disorganised, and clearly had no idea what they were doing. Orders were mixed up, service was painfully slow, and no one seemed to care about the mess or the customers.

This place is a complete health hazard and a total embarrassment to the KFC brand. If you care about basic cleanliness or your stomach then avoid this location at all costs!!! Will not be...

My mom ordered at this KFC the other day after work for our dinner, and the service there was appalling. She had to wait 30 minutes just for a burger (she had ordered other things, but it was just that one item that she was waiting for). She was the only person left in the store, and the staff completely forgot about the final item, and had to be reminded by her to make it.

When she returned home, the order was completely wrong! She ordered a Zinger Tower Burger for me, but it was just a normal chicken burger; so the burger that she had to wait on wasn't even the right one! Iasked for a Peach Iced Tea, but the cup just had water in it. She was having a Mega Box and they completely forgot the fries, so I gave her mine from my meal, since I'm not a huge fan of them anyway.

It was a shame because she had a long day at work, just to be disappointed. Stay well away from this KFC and go to one of the other stores; the West Orchards one is...

Good food, but 70% of the people waiting to order food were not wearing masks.

Also many of staff members were also not wearing staff.

The chicken is good but the chips are usually cold and seem undercooked.

What is it with KFC and sub-standard chips?

The chips have improved of late but today I ordered coleslaw with my order and wasn't given a spoon/fork nor was I given sauces or napkins.

They also had not had a delivery so were not able to provide everything on the menu.

During my last few visits they have not provided sauces, napkins or plastic forks for the coleslaw. So make sure you check before you leave to safe you having to come back.

This branch is going down fast.

Every time I visit it seems to get worse. The chips are cold, no sauces, and napkins included and both my Zinger burgers had one scrap of lettuce on each of them.

I won't be using the palace again I'll be giving my business to the branch in West...
