Went earlier today and usually not a fan of Greek food but was more than pleasantly surprise by the food, in fact I we loved it.... We booked the bottomless brunch option and from the options we decided on the 4 starters and skewers option. We had the meatballs, cypriot village sausage, stuffed vine leaves and koupes with a pork and and a chicken skewer, there was more than enough for 2 people, we also had the orange pie with ice cream which was amazing! Being a bottomless brunch we could have just about any drink we wanted but we opted for a pornstar martini to begin with and we stuck with it for the whole 90 minutes we were there, honestly we have have tried this particular cocktail at many different bars but this one was amazing. We were served by the manager Nicko (apologies if the name is incorrect) but such a nice guy and took the time to come and chat with us about life in general, we were also served by another guy (sorry don't know his name) but again a welcoming guy. Can't recommend this place enough, food amazing, drinks amazing, staff amazing, place amazing! We will...
Read more3 years ago me and my family decided to try this restaurant, it was absolutely amazing authentic Greek food. Tonight we decided to go back as we came to Hull, we couldn’t be more disappointed food was bland no seasoning. The rest of the staff was very polite and concerned why we didn’t eat and we explained the above they decided to speak to the chef, so then the chef (unsure if is the owner) decided to come over to the main area of the restaurant and started to ask customers in front of me and my family if they meal had no flavour being rude towards us. Politely I got up and asked if I could pay my bill and go, explaining we was very disappointed and we just wanted to go, he decided to get quite aggressive and frustrated saying is food is never bland. To say we wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to ANYONE we had a 2 year old in the table and it wasn’t a pleasant experience for a Friday night family meal. This chef should be more respectful and considerate towards is customers when...
Read moreSkip to second paragraph for food. I would give this place five stars however when I went they had live music on, this music was not bad, I enjoyed it however it felt rather loud especially because the eating area is rather small which means the music is a bit much. We were at a table with around seven people and we had to speak loudly and at the end of the evening my throat was hurting. I believe we went on Greek night however this is just worth mentioning. Just in case you are wondering we went on a Friday evening.
After that rant I can get on to the important stuff the food, I loved it which is one reason I am sad about not giving it five stars, I order chicken kebab and it was incredible, it melted in my mouth and I ate it all. We ordered starters which tasted amazing however I can't remember what they are. I will be going again, it is an incredible restaurant, a true Greek meal at a great price and in a lovely setting, which looks rather romantic but I will have to put that...
